   Top notch in almost every category-We all had amazing meals….enjoyed conversing with our pleasant and efficient server and appreciated an enthusiastic welcome on arrival. The food clearly excels most area restaurants. the acoustics aren’t outstanding but quite understandable given the history of the property! While this wasn’t problematic to our dining experience, for an intimate dinner, one might want to request seating in the charming private room just off the main entrance. The Blackboard deserves much praise: A most wonderful dining addition to the area!

   Everything here is always outstanding!!! Beer cheese soup is amazing and the fillet is our favorite when it’s on the menu.

   The food was prepared and presented in a gourmet fashion. The service was very good and the ambiance was well done. The noise level was high and considering the size of the seating area, that would be normal. My wife and I look forward to dining there again.

   I just want patrons to expect a “new normal” where we must be prepared for longer waits in almost all dining establishments , due to crippling staff shortages. I have never had anything less than an amazing culinary experience at Blackboard and I hope people continue to be patient and courteous as these operators try and provide a similar pre-Covid experience. I’ve heard too many people complain these days and ask, on the staff’s behalf, to not take it out on them. Great job the other night, Blackboard!

    Fantastic food and character of the reataurant. Its a great place - but always busy so plan ahead and reserve your spot!
