Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's.

We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

    Food and service was excellent as always, this place is a gem! If you are new to BlackLock all you need to know is - have the ‘all in’ sharing platter and share 1 portion of their famous white chocolate cheesecake. Fantastic!

    Superb steak and trimmings . Always share a big steak if there’s two of you who like it cooked the same way- much better cut. We shared a 950gm porterhouse - perfect for two. Rare. Juicy, tasty, perfect!

    First time at this location ‘Blacklock City’ and it surely did not disappoint. The meal was on point, our server was legend. I cannot say a negative word, I highly recommend.

    From the moment we walked in we were fans. The staff is amazing, the food was so insane. We are only visiting London for a few days and are tempted to come back before we leave!!
