A great vibe, happy people and delicious food. We sat with four people at a table that seemed to be for 10, we kept thinking other people would be seated with us but that did not happen. It's very loud and a little challenging if you have a hearing issue. Service was a bit slower than expected for the prices. Will definitely be back.

We went again for a early Happy Hour diner. As always the service by Antonio was excellent. The food quality as always was excellent. Prices were up a bit but, well worth the quality of the food. We highly recommend Blackstone's Southport CT.

We arrived for lunch and ordered the filet mignon and the salmon dishes, Both were wonderful. I also ordered a Caesar salad to go with sesame seared tuna to go and my husband really enjoyed it.

I think of this restaurant as either a high-end mid quality steakhouse or an entry level high quality steakhouse From the appetizers to the steak to the dessert, everything was somewhere between good/very good and excellent

How does one screw up a baked potato? Everything we ordered was subpar, the price being the salt in the wound.

The restaurant was overbooked and extremely busy. From arrival the host and staff were rude. We had a seven o’clock reservation, there was not a table available and thre host acted as if it were our problem. Their solution was to throw two tables together, sat us with a barely set table - had to flag someone down for settings and menus. Our waitress simply told us it was busy and we would have to wait for service. It took an hour for them to take our order, and that was after us asking. Food took almost another hour. Only saving grace was the food was good. The restaurant unfortunately appears mismanaged and we will not be returning. For that kind of money, good service should be table stakes.

The food was excellent! As a picky eater, this experience was huge for me! I had the bone-in ribeye, which was outstanding, and the garlic mashed potatoes were incredibly creamy and delicious. My favorite dish was the bacon appetizer—I've never had such high-quality whole-slab bacon before! I will be back for more! The service was excellent as well!

It took 25 minutes to get someone to take our drink order, and only after I had to go speak to management. They obviously had too many tables for the number of staff. It was good to see the owner helping, but it took us 2.75 hours from start to finish. Also, glass of wine was $18! Probably more than the entire bottle cost.

We are regulars, and this was our worst experience at a restaurant in a very long time. We had to walk out! When you intend to spend multiple hundreds of dollars on food, you should not have to wait over an hour between appetizers and main, nor should you have plates piled in front of you, plus no one came to check on us, or even if we wanted a drink, nothing... Fyi we arrived at 5pm, before it got busy.
