   Once again, we had an outstanding experience top to bottom at Block Restaurant. The awesome food, service, ambience, and people make this a one of a kind experience, where we find ourselves wanting to return again and again. Don’t miss this fabulous restaurant!

   I went for Sunday brunch: the service was fantastic, the ambiance was great, the mimosa was good, the coffee was super weak (light roast) they added grounds and the second pot was way better, the country fried steak was cooked well beyond well done - not for me. My date loved the avocado toast too. She’ll go back, I probably won’t.

   Food was delish and the server was attentive and helpful. The food took perhaps a little longer to make it on the table than expected but was worth it.

   This was the first time we went for Brunch. It was wonderful, as usual. This was the first time (out of 3 visits) that there was any kind of issue. One of our meals was forgotten by the kitchen. When the meal finally arrived our server, who was deeply apologetic, made us aware that the meal would be removed from the bill. The food was fresh and tasty. We will be back.

   Food was fantastic. We were celebrating a birthday and we put that on our reservation. They didn’t mention anything to us but they asked the table next to us if they were celebrating anything special. It made my wife a little sad. The table next to us were super loud and being really crude and disrespectful. I know that’s not the establishments fault, but it really distracted from the ambiance.

   My favorite place, EVER. Love Block Restaurant and their bar Next Door. Both such great places. Love everything on their brunch menu, it's all great. Go here!

   We ordered the Block bread appetizer, and for our main courses chose the Ox tail and Short Rib Gnocchi. The Block bread was tasty. Unfortunately, both main courses fell flat. The Ox tail had a jerk seasoning that overpowered every other flavor. You couldn't taste the rice, coconut, or any other flavor featured in the dish. The amount of meat for the price was disappointing. The gnocchi was decent. The flavor reminded me of kitchen bouquet seasoning, a bit too much. The meat was too seared on the outside like it had been cooked too long, and again the amount of meat you get for the price was underwhelming. Including tip, we spent $170.00 to walk away feeling disappointed and still hungry.
