   It was an amazing night out celebrating my niece's 16th birthday. From the moment we walked in, everything was wonderful. The reception staff accommodate us to one of the best tables of the restaurant overlooking the city. The waiter was attentive and friendly. Food was delicious, everything tasty and cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will return.

   Blu on The Hudson is arguably the best restaurant I have ever visited. From the moment you pull up to valet service until the time you leave, it offers an exceptional experience. On January 3, 2025, I had dinner with a few friends, and the food was outstanding. There were eight of us, and we ordered various appetizers, entrées, and sides. I couldn't find anything negative about the food; everything tasted amazing. However, I did have my favorites. The "Thick Cut Wagyu Bacon," slow-cooked with a soy caramel glaze, is absolutely to die for. For my main course, I enjoyed the Wagyu Tomahawk, paired with whipped potatoes and truffle cream spinach. As a finishing touch, I had truffle butter drizzled over my Tomahawk. As I mentioned, I was there with a group of friends on January 3, 2025. The ambiance, service (specifically from Letty and Amber), drinks, and food prompted me to make a reservation for a date night with my wife the next night, January 4, 2025. Guess what? Blu on The Hudson didn't disappoint. Our waitress, Victoria, was excellent! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and made our evening flawless. After dinner, she had the valet retrieve our vehicle, just as Amber and Letty had done the previous night. I can't wait to return to Blu on The Hudson; it's a perfect choice whether you're looking for a date night or a relaxed outing with friends.

   Cocktails were imaginiative and delicious, although we ordered from the tableside list and that experience didn''t happen. The scallop app was out at 6:30 pm, so we had the hamachi and the octopus, which which were both as delicious as the drinks. the cacio e pepe could have used a bit more pepe, but my spouse loved his lamb Milanese. Wines kept up the quality. Dessert was tiramisu and s'mores; I thought both desserts were a bit large (one would suffice for 2), couldn't finish mine, but tasty nonetheless. A bit disappointed that I stated in my OT reservation that this was a birthday, and I was dining with a chef; nothing was mentioned. Overall, a great taste experience, but the service was underwhelming.

   Not enough bartenders working. Took almost 30 minutes to get a drink. Food didn’t come out until 11pm. Not worth 250 dollars

   I was at Blu for their New Year's Eve party, and left very disappointed. $250 per person for an "open" bar and hors d'oeuvres. The food was good (always is at Blu) but there were only 2 bartenders trying to service a few hundred revelers. I suppose they did the best they could, but it took about an hour to get a drink, and no champagne at midnight. A lot of money for a sub-par experience.

   The staff was very attentive .they made me feel like they cared about my particular requests for the evening.( I proposed), They were amazing and I can’t wait to go back and invite and tell others about the lovely work the Chef’s are doing . All around ,loved it!my new fiancé LOVED everything especially the food . Staff was all generally nice and openly and obviously there to help and attend to your every need . TY to all the staff that made my night sooooo special!!!
