   BLÜ Prime Steakhouse was quite the experience. We were there celebrating a birthday. Beginning with the ambience, it's blue. Quite comforting decor with high ceilings and a beautiful bar. We were there on a Tuesday early evening. It had a bit of a buzz with customers but didn't feel overcrowded or frantic. The bar is beautiful and added many splashes of color to the room. Our bartender was a Class-A mixologist. May I suggest the Blu Steel cocktail from the menu. When we were seated, I appreciated that the tables weren't crammed together and that we were actually able to carry on a conversation amongst ourselves, even after the restaurant filled with guests. The service was excellent. As I was perusing the wine menu, the sommelier quickly made his way to my side. We talked wine. Our waiter was very attentive. He was eager to make suggestions from the food menu and also with wine pairings. The focaccia and crabcake were superb. The only complaint, well, more of a concern, that I had was when it came to our entrees. My girlfriend had the pork chop and I had the 12oz fillet. The fillet was tender but I had some issue in cutting. I then looked over and my GF was having difficulty cutting her chop. I had taken a bite, as we often share, and it tasted wonderful. But she was sawing away and her plate was sliding on the table, back and forth. Maybe it was the knife. I finally asked for another knife for her which came in a flash. She made it work. Flavor wise, for both the chop and the fillet, fantastic! But I thought that was a bit odd and not befitting of a restaurant of this high quality. Other food around us looked tasty. The prices are what you'd expect from a high-end establishment. We'll probably be back. It's a nice place for a special occasion.

   Dinner and service were fantastic. Really good meal from beginning to end. Service was spot on. We will be going back.

   We had the most amazing experience. David and Tyler were the most amazing waiters we’ve ever had. The customer service was impeccable. The food was equally as amazing.

   This experience was amazing the staff and the food were great, I am so happy we choice BLU Prime Steakhouse to celebrate our anniversary. They really made us feel special.

   First and foremost this was our first trip to San Antonio, we know nothing of the area or what is good or not. Thanks to Google reviews we chose this wonderful place for our girl trip bday dinner. From the moment we walked in, we felt the warmth and wonderful service this place delivered. Our wonderful server Blake went over the top to make sure we had the right wine, the best appetizer and made sure our dinners were served with love. We had the fillet, or should I say BUTTER…..you could cut that meat with a fork it was the best fillet I have ever had. We made sure to have Blake tell the chef that we were impressed and he came out to thank us. Chef Allen explained where the meat came from and how they make it daily. His love for his job shows in the food he prepares. Not only did they deliver wonderful service but they brought us a dessert sampler that blew our minds and our taste buds. John the wine sommelier was a wonderful ending to our meal as he brought us out a dessert wine from Hungry and it was just the right drink to help end our night. Leaving this place was like leaving a second home you don’t want to leave. Our weekend was wonderful here in San Antonio, but it was made even more spectacular with this wonderful restaurant. Thank you to everyone that made it possible!!!!!!

   It was my husband and i’s first time coming! We came to celebrate our Valentine’s Day. It was exactly the right vibe we were going for. The drinks were good, and they suggested good options for both drinks and food. We got the wagyu pizza VERY good and the dried NY strip with the truffle Mac and cheese. Everything came out so good! They have very healthy servings of the meals. We also ended the night we a Togo dessert which I cannot wait to dig into. 10/10 experience. We’re already planning our next visit to try new things !
