   If you're in New Orleans and looking for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Blue Bayou. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for an amazing meal. But what truly made the night was our fantastic server, who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was top-notch. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and offered excellent recommendations. Now, let’s talk about the food – absolutely out of this world. The charred oysters were, hands down, the best we’ve ever had. Smoky, buttery, and packed with flavor, they were the highlight of our meal. It’s clear that Blue Bayou knows how to elevate classic New Orleans cuisine. Every bite was perfection, and it’s safe to say that it’s the best food we’ve had in NOLA.    Ordered dozen oysters only received 1/2 dozen. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad it came to table way after my husbands food came out and it had NO DRESSING on it. How does one mess up a salad. At this point my husband was done eating so I just said I didn’t want it . Didn’t receive anything for this mess up ridiculous

   Great experience. Oysters and brownie was great! We had joyed ourselves. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great ambience. I can’t wait to go back.

   Had a reservation for seven got there had no place for us. Had to wait approximately 35 minutes for a table then couldn’t get a waitress took forever to get drinks. One person never did get their food too many other places around to eat will not go back.

   Pros- Location was close to our hotel Cons- Hostess were rude (no friendly greeting & no smile) Floor throughout whole restaurant was extremely slippery (notable the bathroom was super slick) Terrible service. Took 25-30 mins for anyone to even offer us a water. Food took another 45 mins and was cold, notably the oyster bar thrash with the lump of crab (extremely over priced). We also had 2 shrimp poyboy’s, Alligator bites. All Luke warm. We ordered Black Pearl alcoholic drink. First drink I didn’t want to finish in my whole life. Lastly my girlfriend had a terrible stomach ache later that night and was not able to leave our room all night. Overall…a very disappointing experience. If happen to come across this place in you travels in the Big Easy, please do yourself a favor…keep walking.

   Made a reservation for 12, they separated us, cause the management is too poor to look at reservations as they have a bunch of tables near each other away. Manager was very rude. Would not recommend. Appetizers ordered never arrived. They tried to make us pay for them. Overall awful. Don’t waste your time!

   Our server was great. Food didn’t come out at the same time. Some food didn’t come out until others were done eating. Oysters were great though.

   My husband and I went the Saturday after Valentine’s Day. The aesthetic of the restaurant was beautiful even the bathrooms. There was live music by a cover artist and I really enjoyed that! The only slight downside is this is a cashless establishment. Since it was really busy, there didn’t seem to be enough card readers for the servers. Also there needs to be something for the servers to carry hot food on to protect their hands. There were some food menu items that are repetitive, but my stuffed redfish was pretty good. My server was amazing!

    Upon approaching the hostess, I was not greeted and advised of an hour wait. I than advised her that I had a reservation. She appeared to look annoyed stated that I would just have to wait until a table was available. She than sat down and continued snacking on her food. Despite this very poor customer service. The oysters, however were amazingly good. The strawberry margaritas were also delicious.
