Blue Ribbon Brasserie is built on the vision that originated over 30 years ago in New York City's SoHo at the legendary original Blue Ribbon, well known as the restaurant "where chefs go to eat." Blue Ribbon is also famously ready to serve here in Boston!

The space is highlighted by a 70-foot white Carrera marble bar, an oyster bar, and a 16-seat private dining room. The soaring interior has been designed as a collection of intimate dining spaces featuring cozy leather banquettes, shaded table lamps and bistro tables, and a light-filled solarium with floor-to-ceiling windows that look out into the neighborhood and beckon inside the Boston community and visitors alike.

    Our server was absolutely wonderful! The food top notch as before. The only thing was that it felt as though the restaurant was a little short staffed.

    Loved the pupu platter and desserts! $18 for cocktails was a pretty stiff price though.

    Went with my wife. Service and food were top rate. I had the fried chicken and my wife the shrimp ravioli. Also tried the beef tartar and their version of a Greek Salad. Liked it as much , if that is possible, as the old Esstern Standard, if not more. Will definitely go again. Thank you, guys.

    Second time in and our party of five had a fantastic experience, equal parts food, drink, service (especially waitress with impeccable timing) and ambience. Octopus, endive salad, lamb chops, filet, duck club, burgers - all delicious and prepared exactly as requested, including GF accommodation. A Manhattan heavy on specifics was expert-crafted, sub-zero cold and delivered at the perfect time. Great music heavy on classic indie played loud enough to hear but low enough to talk normally. We’ll be back for sure!

    My DH and I went for Christmas Eve. It is traditionally a nice time for the two of us to celebrate in preparation for entertaining family and friends on Christmas Day. We had cocktails and oysters then he had the lobster and I had salmon. I thought the service was extraordinarily good. Very comfortable, helpful, accommodating. Just great hospitality. The cocktails and food were excellent. We ordered a sundae to split and were delivered an absolutely huge concoction that we devoured. We'll be back

    Very disappointing experience, particularly the quality of the food. I have been eating at Blue Ribbon Brasseries and other Blue Ribbon concepts since they first opened. The food has always been excellent until this last visit. Perhaps it was because they had a ‘holiday crew’ in the kitchen or perhaps the Boston outpost isn’t up to usual Blue Ribbon standards. The hamburger was overcooked and dry. The Chocolate Bruno was not its usual silky smooth, melt in your mouth texture. The pastry chef went way overboard with gelatin. And the Hot Fudge Sundae was made with hot milk chocolate rather than deep, delicious hot FUDGE. Only the French Onion soup lived up to expectations.
