Blue Ribbon Sushi & Steak combines traditional Japanese cuisine with a modern day steakhouse. Our menu is varied and extensive, and includes sushi and sashimi, as well as cooked entrees such as fish, lamb, steaks and chops. We feature Domestic and Japanese Wagyu. Blue Ribbon Sushi & Steak is located in midtown Manhattan, at the PENN 1 Building, across 33rd Street from Madison Square Garden and atop Penn Station. The restaurant is accessible from 33rd street, and from the newly renovated Penn Station and 34th Street via the lobby of PENN 1. We offer various seating areas - a sushi counter, a cocktail bar, the central dining room, and an outdoor patio (weather permitting).

    Great food service drinks. Only have great things to say about this restaurant, especially if you’re going to MSG. I was reluctant to write this review for fear of having difficulty getting reservations in the future.

    The sushi was outstanding. We got the sushi deluxe with a spicy tuna roll and the Toro Parfait. Both were good, the sushi deluxe was better than the parfait but it was novel and something new to try. The cocktails were great. We had the Lychee Martini, which was sweet and fruity, and the Getsu, which was bold and rich. We also tried the Freddy which we do not recommend as it was spicy and tasted a bit like burning tires. The wine list was great - loved the Pinot Noir. We will definitely be going back!

    Great spot especially perfect for client entertaining amazing sushi as you would expect from Blue Ribbon Sushi but also offers smash burgers and steaks! Our waitress was very professional and attentive. Good lunch vibe
