Made a reservation weeks in advance to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We have a tradition of going to Blu for Valentine’s day, third year in a row! I was disappointed when shown our table because we were sat at a six person table and sharing it with another couple. I understand trying fit as many people as possible into the restaurant but I don’t think accommodating walk ins should leave people with reservations at community tables.

As always we had a great experience at Blue Sushi. Jade was great at her job she knew the menu well and was attentive to our needs throughout our time dining.

Probably the best sushi restaurant in Des Moines. Food was awesome, atmosphere was great and we had the best service and server!

Everything was delicious and our server was great. They asked if we were going to a show and was considerate of our time. My second time visiting the restaurant and it was as good as the first. My friends have never been before and they now know about Blue Sushi.

It was my first time here and it did not disappoint! The variety of sushi rolls that they offered were amazing and they even had a huge vegan option that my friend(they were the one to invite me down) was able to enjoy. There were a bunch of large parties that were there but we were still able to receive all of our food and drinks in a timely manner! Abby was our server and she did a killer job managing her parties and being attentive towards us. Their manager even greeted us and actually took our order as our server was in the middle of closing out a large party. That was not all! He came back multiple times to check-in on us and even recommended stopping next door to their tiki bar for post-dinner drinks which we ended up doing. One of the best experiences I have had in a long time going out to dinner!

This place is great! Kaleb was our server and did a tremendous job! The GM Tyler even stopped by to chat us up and see how everything was going. The sushi is bomb, drinks are delicious and they even have a tiki bar connected to it that we stopped in after dinner! 10 out of 10 on everything! We can't wait to come back!

We really appreciate the birthday deserts! We did wait at the door for quite some time to be greeted, but we were able to find our party and make it to our table. Great food, as always!
