' ..... Welcome to Bluebird, a wood-fired steakhouse featuring the best of Alberta beef including your favorite classic cuts and all-day-roasted Prime rib. Bluebird is where brunch and cocktails collide into fireside lunch which glides into happy hour and then swooshes into dinner where the après begins. With the fire stoked high, we are ready for you to ski through the front door and tell us all about it. It’s always a bluebird day in our mid-century chalet.

Went here for a good breakfast before starting our tours for the day. My family & I all ordered different plates & shared. Everything was wonderful! Also loved the fireplace & the sunrise mimosa!

We had a great experience. Food was excellent, atmosphere was outstanding and we lucked out with server, Morgan, who guided us through the menu options and provided great service.

Absolutely fabulous! The ambience and vibe werr wonderful and the food was amazing. Two people at our table ordered the French onion soup and once they shared a taste, two others then ordered it. The rib eyes were delicious, peppercorn steaks great and every side we had (mushrooms, mashed potatoes and broccolini) was terrific. Our server, Shelby was so nice and very attentive. Couldn’t have asked for a better evening!

French onion soup, tartare, and prime rib fondue we ordered needed more flavour. The cheese fondue was the only item that we thought was good but we didn’t care for any of the sides. Not worth the money though. Service is below average. She spent too much time filling everyone’s small water glasses and not enough time asking if we needed anything. Maybe just leave the water bottle at the tables or have larger water glasses. Took her a long time to greet us at the beginning as well. Then the sparkling water I asked for was warm and flat. It’s better not the offer it than to offer something bad. We didn’t order any steaks because we had steaks the night before and weren’t able to cancel the day of our reservation. Regardless, we were underwhelmed with the food and service. Location and decor was nice but the tables were a bit too close together and the servers were in our space or moved things around to get to the tables.

This is a great steakhouse in Downtown Banff. The service was excellent, and the food was wonderful. Bring your appetite as portions are really large so you may want to share. I had a Caesar salad which was great but could be split for 2 people. My husband had the garden salad which was delicious but really big. The cheesy potatoes and mushrooms were wonderful and I would order both of those sides again. I had the prime rib and it was HUGE. I ate about a 1/4 of it. My husband got a 14 oz steak, and we had plenty of leftovers. We shared the key lime pie and couldn't eat all of that either. The wine list is really good and the ambiance is noisy, a bit crowded but cozy. I would recommend this as a great place to eat in Banff.

Great menu options for brunch with variety of breakfast and lunch options. Service was fantastic warm welcoming and efficient. Cocktails and other beverages were done extremely well.
