Ce lieu de front de mer est historiquement connu comme le site de lancement du premier sous-marin du pays, le HL Hunley.     Our waterfront deck overlooking the waterway accommodates 80 people for a seated dinner or lunch or up to 150 people for a cocktail party. The rooftop bar can accommodate cocktail parties up to 75 people. Our Sunroom can accommodate 36 people for a seated dinner. Summer evening events are limited. Daytime luncheons are available.

    Lobster was outstanding. We saw several pods of dolphins out on the water. Was a bit cloudy, if not we would have had a fantastic sunset view. Staff was great. Wonderful experience for our first time, we will be coming back!

    This was our first visit. The food was fantastic. The hush puppies were delicious. The steak melted in your mouth. We also had yummy crab legs and crab cake. We also had the turtle cheesecake which was fresh and delicious. It was tastier than a more expensive restaurant we recently visited. The waiter (Brian H) was very attentive. We sat on the enclosed heated porch with a view of the water. It was warm even though it was 40 degrees outside. Loved it.

    Server and food were both excellent. Unfortunately we were seated at table 101 (corner Outside) on an unusually cold night and there was very little warmth coming from the heater that was one table away. Maybe on super/unusually cold evenings table 101 should not be available for seating. Just a thought….

    Have dined here for years while staying on IOP. The quality, service and food has always been consistently on point and have never had a less then stellar experience there ever!
