This waterfront locale is historically known as the launching site of our country's first submarine, the H.L. Hunley. Poised at the breach between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic, you can enjoy a meal amongst the spectacular sunset views and balmy ocean breezes of the Isle of Palms.     Always good seafood options. Environment a bit noisy to carry on a conversation. Very good attentive wait staff. Im local and always enjoy going there.

    Taste of food was excellent along with service! You need to specify where you want to sit because there is quality of seating spaces ranging from a “2” to a “10”. We got stuck in about a “3” level by the door.

    My favorite restaurant. Never had a bad meal at all. Great service. Great atmosphere. Great food. I live 4 1/2 hours away and try to visit at least 6 times a year.

    Excellent Valentine’s Day dinner at the boathouse. We reserved an early seating so we could view the sunset. The Valentine’s Day Special for 2 was wonderful.

    We are locals and the Boathouse is one of our "go to" out of three restaurants that we enjoy when celebrating family events. Brunch is great as well!
