   The fixed price $55 menu items were a great value. I enjoyed the salmon, my wife enjoyed her Argentinan steak, and our son enjoyed his spaghetti carbonerra.

   I went to Bobby Van's Grill for lunch and the food was good. We ate the burger and crispy rice cake w/tuna [which I thought was going to be a miss but it was a hit]. The staff was attentive and overall it was fine.

   The food was excellent but the service was below par for the money spent. Our table was located in a spot where we could look out the window, with lots of natural light. We were the only ones seated in the upstairs dining room, two women celebrating our anniversary. Our waiter said anything we need to let him know & the table is great because we could watch men (a very inappropriate comment to anyone, very presumptuous). Once a table of 8 men sat down, we were pretty much completely ignored by him. We were totally disappointed in this experience and we won’t be back.

   No raw bar or seafood tower at a steak house :( Menu choices were Les than exciting. On a bright note there was great service and and restaurant ambiance is nice. Close to Broadway shows.

   The 2 Salmon entries were disappointing and not finished. I had the fish special. Veges were good but fish not edible. The burger and steak sandwich were enjoyed. Location was great and I had a very good Negroni.

    The staff was excellent and very attentive. Our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful in making suggestions for dishes to try. For my appetizer I ordered the meatball skillet which would have been good; but, that night the chef was too generous with the salt. Our waiter quickly allowed me to substitute and brought a Caesar salad which was delicious. My friend and I both ordered the salmon which was seared and medium done in the middle. I like iand enjoy it prepared that way. However, she complained that it quickly became cold as she ate through the center. Otherwise we both enjoyed the freshness of the fish. We both ordered desserts which were delicious. I would definitely recommend Bobby Van’s Grill to others.
