   We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Bob’s Steak & Chop House in La Costa, and it was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and professional. The meal itself was phenomenal. We started with the scallops, which were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The warm Italian bread was a wonderful touch and set the stage for the main course. I had the filet, cooked to perfection, accompanied by the largest sweet potato I’ve ever seen—absolutely delicious—and, of course, their famous glazed carrot, which was surprisingly tasty. My husband enjoyed the New York strip, which he described as equally flavorful and expertly prepared. Beyond the food, the ambiance made the night even more special. The location within the resort added to the experience, and the valet service was seamless and helpful. Highly recommend Bob’s Steak & Chop House for any special occasion or just a great steak dinner. We will definitely be back!

   Great place! Sam was our waiter, he did a great job with our party of 7 ppl and kids moving around the table) The food was very nice, we tried the jumbo shrimps, Caesar salad, onion rings, spinach, sea bass, salmon and of course the filet mignon! Although on the pricey side but its worth it! The parking is a bit tricky as it is inside a resort and we had to call the restaurant where they kindly navigated us through.

   We ate outside which was quiet and romantic. The food was terrific, the portions were generous and the service was very personable.

   It’s my and husbands go to for a guaranteed excellent dinner . I love the jumbo shrimp appetizer and my husband loves the onion rings . We usually share the 18 oz ribeye with skillet potatoes and extra gravy . The gravy is delicious and I love to dunk bites of my steak into it . Savage :)

   We were taken to a fairly small dining room which the hostess said is quieter than the larger one. That was perfect for me, and she was so right. Our server was Neil T. and he and the other staff members that served us were fantastic. Neil explained the menu and answered my questions. We had a leisurely dinner, the food was fabulous, and the overall experience was wonderful. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and will definitely keep Bob's in mind for special occasion dinners.

   Jeff hands down best server ever . Made our valentines the best dinner we’ve had . Lamb chops are cooked to perfection and ribeye was perfect tenderness. 10/10

    The food is excellent. We had the filet and it was delicious and almost melted in your mouth. The creamed spinach is a fantastic side dish and the big carrot is cooked perfectly. The service is best in class. The ambiance is of a steak house with great woodwork and photos. Only complaint is we made reservations well in advance and were seated at a table for two beside the wall and twosomes after us were seated at large booths.
