Hidden gem! Cool vibe and great ambiance. The drinks were great and the food was delicious. Not all the pretentious fake people you see at other Mexican "cuisine" restaurants. Really enjoyed it! Definitely going back!

There was 20 of us in our group for a bday dinner on a Saturday night. The food was a 2/10. A lot of unexpected things happened at dinner, thought it would be handled differently but was not. I was expecting alot from this place considering the food presentation and place on their website, but in person it did not meet my expectations. Unfortunately, I wont be going back.

Being my first time and from out of town I didn’t know what to expect. I booked a reso based on the online presentation of the fare. When we entered we were thrilled by the warm, welcoming environment and opted to enjoy dinner on the turfed, energetic patio. The staff was outstanding and attentive. We were blown away initially at the bright variation in color of food presented. What’s more each dish of the 6 we shared was outstanding. The best, most vibrant Mexican food I have ever had. As a group we wondered what this Mexican was fused with so we asked the chef. Mexico City was his response. Any night of the week check Bocado out. You’ll thank yourself.

Food was delicious and the service excellent. Ambiance was reserved but friendly, gentile, neighborly but not in an overt over the top way. Not too reserved and not too casual, perfect. I don’t care for the disco background music but I consider myself in the minority there. More live jazz please!

The chips and 3 types of salsa were delicious. Excellent margaritas as well. Would recommend the xotica margarita. Nice selection of appetizers and tacos. Very friendly service. It's a nice space with techno music playing just loudly enough to enjoy but not too loud to drown out conversation. It felt like we had authentic Mexican food like one gets in Mexico City.
