   Bocado is such a refreshing change. Ever since it opened ( we live in Picton) when my husband and I want to go out for dinner this is the place we choose. We are both very creative in the kitchen so most high end restaurants are a little boring or disappointing to us, but Bocado's cuisine is innovative, delicious and presented so well. The Tapas are so amazing. We stay with ordering a few of those each with a bottle of wine and go for sharing one of their delicious desserts. We have never been disappointed. And we like leaving without that feeling of being overstuffed and uncomfortable. Tapas style is a very enjoyable way to eat. The Chef , Staff are excellent, they know their food and explain it very well and they are polite and have great sense of humour. We Love Bocado!

   Great meal and service tonight. Always a winner and especially tonight. Dates are always a favourite.

   We sat at the bar, and had excellent service as soon as we were greeted. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. Food, cocktails, and wine were all well presented and absolutely delicious. I would go back in a heartbeat.

   Despite the place being quite noisy, that slowly slips away with each delicious bite of the outstanding tapas choices you make. From the ham croquettes to the waygu steak, you will be sent on a food experience that is almost spiritual. In other words, it is worth the visit.

   Our 4th time at Bocado and first time sitting at the bar. Our server Heather was a real treat and we sincerely enjoyed her attention, spunk and service. It presents a challenge to serve patrons at the bar, when the only access to them, is from the side but all were up for the challenge and we had to keep making sure we were out of the way. It was fascinating to watch the expert carver as she took such great care with the meat slicing. Plating the slices with the grain all aligned was a notable method that I will adopt...if ever the opportunity presents with DIY! Next time, we will resume our table seating vs the bar, now that we have viewed the show. Lovely dishes to share and great wine. Thanks to a great team!!

    Loved the signature martini. A bit different and very enjoyable. Salad with pickled blueberries and candied walnut, delightfully fresh. The rib eye was cooked perfectly. Don’t miss the sourdough ice cream for dessert…very lovely with the Carmel drizzle and crunchy chocolate/coffee topping.
