Boeuf is Medway’s first Steak Frites House, a restaurant serving the ultimate steak frites experience. Brought to you by the same team at The Dead Pigeon Pub & The Greedy Banker Pub, Boeuf is a unique experience that elevates this popular French/Belgian dish.

Through heavy research and years of knowledge working with beef we bring to you quite possibly the best cut of steak; Sirloin Pavé. This is a rare, premium cut of beef which has the same juicy tenderness of a fillet steak with the rich beefy flavour of a sirloin.

Our menu is precise and to the point but there is no need to do more when we have the best of everything all on one plate.

What makes our steak frites experience unique is we serve you the steak frites twice. Yes that’s right double steak frites!

Please note due to the size of the restaurant we are unable to accommodate pushchairs or high chairs. There is also no children's menu.

    Only 8 or so tables in this restaurant which provided a nice atmosphere. Only 1 toilet for both men and women which wasn't enough and needed to be kept cleaner. Food was cooked very well but for the money there could have been more, the photos on Facebook are misleading. Had a bottle of Malbec which was lovely.

    Simply cannot fault the food or service at all. Thought it was a bit expensive at £34.95 per head but that's my only gripe. The steak was amazing, the sauces are amazing and there's no need for any extra seasoning, it was simply perfect. The guy making the cocktails was extremely knowledgable so if there's nothing on the menu that takes our fancy just let him know what you like and don't like and leave him to it. Enjoy Boeuf, you will NOT be disappointed!

    Great food. Great service. Think Flat Iron, but locally owned. So nice to have decent steak in Rochester. One critique is the steak was slightly too salty, but still very tasty.

    Great experience something different we had an enjoyable evening. Service as very good and having only one thing on the main menu made it easy to decide what your having. And it was good twice.

    Amazing steak experience! Steak was cooked perfectly and was so tender. Chips were crispy and delicious! The cocktails were fantastic. Staff were attentive albeit very busy. Definitely recommend!

    We really enjoyed our visit to Boeuf. It was something new to try and we highly recommend trying it if you like a steak. Steak was lovely, cooked really well and chips were lovely and crispy, and served twice. Bread and butter was yum as was dessert. My only improvement would have been the option to have a vegetable side to go with my meal, maybe offering a creamed spinach, some carrots or mushrooms would be the cherry on the top. Good choice of drinks also, I opted for the Raspberry Fizz cocktail and it went down very well! It’s small inside so defo advise booking but an asset to that part of the high street and would recommend giving it a try.

    The best steak I have ever had. The Malbec we picked was perfect and the cocktails were also amazing. Ideal that you get two servings. Really great ambience and really knowledgeable staff too.
