   Our servers were excellent. The food was great! We had the Scallops appetizer and the whole duck. The whole duck is too much for two people, but it was absolutely delicious. I would recommend getting another app and sharing Duck for one to try more food. It is a place meant for special occasions due to the price point. But well worth it.

   Absolutely incredible! Service was fast. Food is an Experience!!!! Every dish is advancers that we enjoyed tremendously. Simple (as I thought) chicken breads, was so incredible I’m still telling my friends how impressed I was, and I don’t impress easily.

   Boka is a true gem in Chicago’s culinary scene, delivering a dining experience that is as polished as it is memorable. My visit to this Michelin-starred restaurant was marked by inventive dishes, artful presentations, and attentive service that made the evening special. We began with the lightly kured kampachi, a delicate starter that balanced freshness with an umami depth. The fish was melt-in-your-mouth tender, complemented beautifully by subtle citrus and herbal accents. It was an excellent introduction to the meal, highlighting Boka’s focus on precision and flavor. Next came the ricotta gnudi, which was nothing short of divine. Each tender bite was a pillowy cloud of ricotta perfection, surrounded by a light, flavorful sauce that brought everything together. The dish managed to feel both decadent and restrained, showcasing a mastery of balance. The star of the meal, however, was undoubtedly the whole duck. Presented with flair and carved tableside, it was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The duck was cooked to perfection—crispy, golden skin encased tender, flavorful meat that paired wonderfully with its accompaniments. It’s clear this dish is a signature for a reason, and it delivered on every promise.    I’ve been to high rates restaurants across the globe. Boka is my very favorite. The menu design, quality of food, and service is an 11.

   Honestly not as good as I was expecting. There are a lot of other restaurants in the same price point that are more worth it I feel.

   Jack was great! Explained the dishes wonderfully and helped with drink selections. He even brought us a little amaro flight when we were debating amaro choices :) thank you!

   Went for a Sunday date-night dinner and had a wonderful time. Service and staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The food was good, but felt some of the dishes were very strong and too rich; The sauces seemed to over power rather then complement the main ingredient. The dry aged beef tartar, was phenomenal and to return for it.

    Overall really excellent. Only hiccup, my fiancée ordered an old fashioned twice, the second time around I don’t think they gave him an old fashioned, maybe just a simple scotch or bourbon. He only drinks old fashions and whatever they gave him the second time around was not it. This was after our entree and we didn’t want to be bothersome so we left without saying anything, that’s probably also our fault on our end.
