Michelin-starred Boka Restaurant has been a cornerstone of Chicago’s dining scene since 2003.     We are excited to welcome back our Friends and Family Dinner Series! Our first dinner of this installment is Wednesday, March 12th, at 6pm, where we will collaborate on an intimate, communal, family-style menu served over five courses with one of Chicago's (and our) favorite chefs - the legendary Joe Flamm. Top Chef winner and Chef Partner of Rose Mary, BLVD, and West Loop newcomer il Carciofo. Due to the nature of this event, we are unable to accommodate allergies and most dietary restrictions. Please email info@bokachicago.com to inquire for more information. Tickets are $125 per person for the 5 course family style dinner, and will also include a welcome cocktail.

    Worst ever experience after dining in Chicago over 10 years. The rude waiter pushed us so hard to complete the 3 course dinner within 1 hour. He even throw the bill together with the desert on our table. It's very ridiculous to have this kind of service in a so called Michelin whatever. If you cannot host so many events in restaurant week just shut down please

    I recently dined at Boka during restaurant week, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. As regular visitors celebrating our anniversaries, we had high expectations, but the service this time fell short. I ordered cocktails and politely requested that we finish them before starting the wine pairing with our meal. To my astonishment, the waiter insisted that it wasn’t possible because of the restaurant week format, stating that everything had to move quickly. I found this approach baffling, especially since wine pairings are typically a standard part of a multi-course menu, regardless of the occasion. Moreover, the waiter didn’t even offer the wine pairing option—it felt rushed and impersonal. It was disheartening to feel like our special dinner was treated as just another table to turn. Overall, my experience at Boka this time was quite sad, and it has made me reconsider our future visits. I hope they can improve their service and remember that even during busy weeks, dining should still feel special and accommodating.

    Compared to other restaurants we visited for restaurant week, this was the worst value for our money. Despite the fact that this is nouvelle cuisine, the portions were embarrassingly small and the wine portions, for a $40 wine pairing, was basically a sip of wine.(2oz.) A restaurant of this calibre should do better.
