The food is decent, service is poor and more akin to being at a cafe vs. an expensive fine dining restaurant. Servers didn’t come and check on empty drinks, we had to flag someone down to clear our plates and bring dessert menus, and then once again to bring our check. Also, the pacing was very off, after we got our appetizers it took almost 30 mins for the mains. No one came by to say why there was a delay or provide a refresh in drinks. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The food was too oily and pretty average food for tajs standards. There are only 3 people for the entire restaurant to take orders and are overwhelmed. Feel sad for them.Food is pretty ordinary , unhealthy and overpriced. Have had better food.

Very good food… looks like decor not yet finished. Staff good. Chef came to table. My allergy to cilantro noted and good advice about fudhes specifically avoid. Will go back again.

Wonderful to have an occasion to return to this elegant dining room. The SF Restaurant week menu was a perfect sampler of rich flavors, beautiful presentation, and scrumptious dishes. Service was impeccable. Can't wait to return with a larger group to sample more of the tantalizing menu! Thank you!

The Mulligatawny Soup is superb , almost the equal of the soup at the Tiffin Room at Raffles hotel in Singapore which is the best in the world . The Aloo Tikki, Chicken Keema, Lobster Thermidor , Steak Au Poivre, Shrimp & Mango curry are all best in class platonic dishes . Great wine list , superb service . The rice pulao is a stunner too. A home run on all fronts including ambience & decor . A true five star experience.

We had the SF restaurant week menu on a weekday evening. It was wonderful! Although the choices were modest all the food was really well done. The salmon tandoori was actually creamy and nicely spiced. The butter chicken was “butter chicken” but the kofta sauce made from several vegetables was very interesting and spicy the way we like it. A dessert of kulfi with berries was a real treat. We had ordered extra duck samosa appetizers thinking we might need a bit more food but they were not needed although excellent. I especially want to call out the bartenders and wait people who couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Great experience!

We had the 6 course tasting menu (3 regular and 3 vegi) and all the food was spectacular. Very different and zero duds. The service, however, was slow and less attentive than desired.

The grilled salmon was very salty. When soup was served, the side plates were not picked up to make place for soup. We had to move things on the table to accommodate . Service was inconsistent. Not Taj standard.

We ordered the Diwali tasting menu and the food was mediocre throughout. There was also long gaps between courses so they overall meal took hours even though it was only a five course meal. Service was poor and it was difficult to get our water refilled. Overall a subpar experience, especially for the price. We would not return.
