Following the success of his first restaurant in Vauxhall, chef and founder Ajay Chaurasia has opened a second site in Wimbledon, bringing his own personal take on Indian cuisine to South-west London. On offer is a range of lesser-known regional dishes along with plenty of tried-and-tested favourites so there’s something for everyone at this bright and cheerful restaurant.

Chaurasia’s aim is to bring together flavours from all over the Indian continent, Sharing appetizers includes the likes of king prawns (Tiltala Jhinga) and sticky tamarind wings with avocado chat - a contemporary spin on the classic street food snack. Tandoor highlights include Murgh Hariyali Tikka, which is grilled chicken breast marinated with fresh green spices and yoghurt, as well as vegan options, too.

(Bombay Delight does not use any ingredient that contains artificial coloring agent or flavor in our dishes. We use natural ingredients & products as far as possible to keep consumers healthier & happier.)

HIGHLY RECOMMEND . Travelled 1+ hours to bring my mother (93, not Asian) to this restaurant for her (belated) birthday. We all had delicious meals, and the service exceptional.

We celebrated the coming together of two families and the service was top tier will a very unique menu on show. The restaurant was lively and we greatly enjoyed the food and drinks. Can't wait to be back soon.

The Maharashtran festival specialties were the highlight of the evening. The food was a little on the spicy side and the area we were sat was a bit noisy but overall a great experience.

Starters were good. The mains were over spiced and the experience wasn’t great. When asked if we would like another dish to replace the one that wasn’t good we got charged which I found insulting. I challenged this and was given 3.50 off the bill. I won’t be going back as there are far better restaurants in the area

This is a great curry restaurant with probably the highest standard Indian food in the area. The ambience is good, however, personally I would prefer Indian music which can be heard in all areas. The staff are excellent.

Gorgeous food and very attentive staff. Sunday night so kids were there but not too noisy. Would definitely recommend the curries. We had chicken, prawn and vegan curries. The two vegans in our party felt there was a great choice for them. We will be coming back!
