Great ambiance and delicious food! A little on the pricier side, but worth it-- especially since serving sizes are family style and generous enough for sharing!

The food at Bombay in Hillcrest is wonderful, and the Indian vibe is wonderful. We love going there and took friends this last time. They are eager to come back!

Food is always good, service is typically slow. However I've noticed the quality has decreased over time. Their Indian food used to be amazing every time. Now not quite as good unfortunately.

The place has a nice ambience and nicely designed . The food was okay. They need to have more servers . I made a reservation and waited almost an hour before someone came to my table and took my order and that was because I called the host over to complain about the long wait. The place was so crowded and after I placed my order I had to wait a long time to be served and again by asking a waiter walking by for my food. The belly dancers kept me entertained while I waited .

The ambiance was beautiful, food was wonderful, waiters were very kind and helpful, however, the service from the waiters were a little inattentive after the meal was served. It was higher in price than I had expected for the amount of food we received. I will come again with friends and family, but I cannot give it a 5 star. Need a little more work on the attentiveness.

The good news is that if you want great Indian food, then this is the place to go. The ambiance is beautiful and like many restaurants in Hillcrest, the food is good. The bad news is that service is non-existent. We had to constantly flag down servers. They had a lot of servers, but no one seemed to be assigned to our table. Also, we opted for ordering off the menu since the buffet items didn't look very appetizing.

We enjoyed our dinner very much. It's a fun restaurant in the heart of Hillcrest, and the food was quite good as well as plentiful. The spicy level of the Mahi curry I chose was perfect - not hot, but spice that lingered on your tongue. The breads were delicious as were the chutneys we ordered - mint and raita. The appetizer we chose was the sampler - more than enough for two people. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and available. Service was quite good. Nice place to have an Indian meal.

Hated the service as we had to wait for 45 mins for our food to arrive. When the food came, it was not hot, it was more like warm and every dish that we ordered was tasting horrible. It was so bad food I had bad burps all night :(. I wouldn't go there again
