Bon Ami- Bistro and Creperie, a restaurant in the West Washington Park neighborhood of Denver, offers authentic French cuisine in a casual bistro setting. The Dinner and Brunch are served every day.

Both Brunch and Dinner menus offer a variety of savory crepes and French bistro classics - Escargot, Mussels, Croque Monsieur, Crispy Chicken and Frites, Beef Bourguignon, French Onion Soup, Steak and Frites…
Monday through Friday 4 pm till 6 pm join us for a Happy Hour, enjoy half price on all bottles of wine and stay for our intimate twilight lit patio. (Please note Dinner menu opens up at 5pm).

No outside food or beverages are allowed in the restaurant.

We would like to kindly ask to include babies and toddlers into your reservation so that we could adequately plan our service. Thank you

Food and experience was great until we got the crème brûlée which fell far short of being caramelized. It was quite grainy and put a sour note at the end of our dinner.

10/10. Bon Ami is my top 3 favorite restaurants in Denver. The food is amazing, never misses. The staff is kind, fun and always upbeat. The ambiance makes me feel like I’m in Paris. I love it!!

Good cocktails, cheese plate, Cordon Bleu crepe, crispy chicken and frites. Excellent Creme Brûlée. Attentive service. We’ll be back!

Always a great experience and the food is delicious. Closest thing to Paris we’ve found in Denver.

Review of Bon Ami: A Missed Opportunity in French Bistro Dining Bon Ami, a French bistro and creperie, has a charming atmosphere and a warm, welcoming staff. The space is well-utilized, creating an inviting environment that sets high expectations. Unfortunately, the food falls short—dramatically so—due to an overwhelming use of salt that renders many dishes nearly inedible. The French onion soup was a major disappointment. Instead of deeply caramelized onions that bring out the natural sweetness of the dish, the onions were underdeveloped, resulting in a bitter flavor. The excessive cheese turned into a chewy, gum-like layer rather than the indulgent, melty topping one hopes for. My chicken croquettes were even saltier—bordering on absurd. They lacked the delicate contrast of a crisp outer shell and creamy interior, instead resembling dense rice balls. My wife’s salad was equally over-seasoned and drenched in dressing, making even the simplest dish overwhelming. That said, the tuna was well-prepared, which suggests the kitchen has potential if they can correct their heavy-handed seasoning. Dessert was a partial redemption. The crepes were decent, though the portion size felt excessive—again, not in line with a true French bistro experience. The generous portions and friendly service can’t make up for the fact that the kitchen seems either to be skipping tastings or suffering from salt blindness. Until they recalibrate their seasoning and refine their execution, Bon Ami is a missed opportunity rather than a must-visit. Would I return? Only if I hear the food has improved.

We were thrilled with our meals at Bon Ami. Our food was served piping hot. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. The bottomless mimosas (peach was 👌🏻) were fantastic. Don’t leave without trying the Nutella crepe with berries. Our new favorite brunch spot!
