Went to dinner here and sat at the bar… we decided to give up our table and eat at the bar… I loved the service at the bar… the two female bartenders are amazing! The drinks were good and their service was amazing! For dinner, we started with the grilled oysters. Those were done perfectly. We also ordered the wedge salad, chopped… it was not chopped… so the bartender had to run back to get it chopped… it came back roughly chopped… I could have done that myself! But it was good… so whatever… for entrees we ordered the prime rib, crab cakes, corn souflee, and Brussel sprouts. The prime rib was ok… it was way more on the rare side… it was overly salted as well… The crab cakes were amazing! Do not skip the corn souflee! The brussel sprouts were overly simple… missing an element to make them special or worth ordering… unless you like simplicity… skip those. Finally, we had the lemon meringue pie for dessert… wow! Not to be skipped!

Our selection for the evening was the chargrilled oysters, seafood bisque, prime rib and loaded 1# baked potato. Everything was excellent. Our waiter Trae, was very attentive to our needs. The experience for the evening was very enjoyable. We will definitely be making more reservations in the future.

Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed. The prime rib was too rare… not medium rare. If a customer spends this much on a prime cut of meat, they should have it cooked ANY WAY THEY PREFER. The music in no way celebrates New Orleans or Cajun culture, which is a shame for customers who are music culture bearers. The crab cakes were excellent, but they weren't a good complement. The Lemon Meringue dessert was excellent. Overall, I was disappointed.

We shared the ‘bone in’ Bon Ton cut. Hands down the best prime rib ever.
