   Unfortunately it was a miss with our meal. Several issues combined to make this not a five star experience. Our issues were addressed by the manager Travis. We would’ve rather had a great experience than have part of our meal bought for us. We’ll consider trying them again and hopefully this was just a one time deal

   Having dined across the street at Chop House many times over the years, we were excited to try this sister of restaurant. What an amazing experience! We were promptly seated ahead of our reservation time. Our main server and assistant were super courteous and very friendly. The prime rib was among the best I have ever had. The appetizers and sides were amazing but make no mistake, this establishment is all about the prime rib. If several people are sharing, go for the Bon Ton cut, simply fantastic. Super busy space but we did not feel rushed or crowded. Nice to have another first class restaurant to refer friends too when visiting the City.

   We were thrilled to be able to get in to Bon Ton Prime Rib for dinner on Christmas Day. As so few restaurants were open that day, it was very busy. The hostesses were surprisingly calm under the circumstances, and friendly. We had a reservation and it did not take too long to be seated. We had the crab cakes, onion rings, and broccoli. Everything was cooked to perfection. The couple seated next to us had steak and prime rib and raved about their food. Although there are many dining options in NOLA, we decided to return for dinner later in the week when it wasn’t so busy. This time we ordered the oysters and they were superb. Once again the food was consistently excellent, as were the cocktails. The servers were professional and friendly and everything came out of the kitchen timely, and there was no sense that we were being rushed. Given that Bon Ton had only been open for six weeks, we were impressed how the restaurant was run. The staff and food were top notch. We’ve been to NOLA many times, and eaten at both high-end (and over hyped) restaurants and cheap local eateries. Bon Ton is definitely at the top of our list for value and quality. We will be back. The only gripe is the music was too loud. But it seems this is a NOLA “thing”, is done everywhere, intended to add a festive vibe. Please stop!

   Beautiful restaurant. Wonderful professional service ( thank you Bradley). Excellent food and cocktails. I was a little surprised by the music. A bit high volume 70s and 80s tunes. I didn’t mind at all but thought it strange for an upscale establishment. We will definitely return.

    Everything was great. Our favorites were the Cesar salad, the crab cakes, onion rings and the crawfish Mac n cheese.
