   Worst Omakase Ever Experienced. Save your money. For the price, the amount of food, presentation and service were subpar. Greeted immediately with appetizers and then waited 40 minutes for our sushi board. Followed by another 20 minute gap until final course and dessert. The staff hurriedly explained items and presentation was not a true Chef Omakase experience. That would be okay if this was not so expensive and dragged out! The biggest issue is my wife cannot eat gluten (celiac). I called a few days early to notify the restaurant and they assured me accommodations would be made for the tasting menu. The first few courses were made gluten free with the staff assuring so. Great! Then, a noodle and shrimp tempura dish were put in front of each of us. We figured hers was made GF given the preceding dishes and she was halfway through when the staff came back, apologized it was not gluten free and took it away. Unacceptable to put a known allergen in front of someone and let them eat it after that allergy was previously acknowledged. Dessert came out (waffle and ice cream) with no details and waiter walked out. I had to flag staff down who again apologized this was not gluten free either. The most disappointing dining experience my wife and I ever had. The restaurant seems nice and I’m sure we would have enjoyed picking our own meal but for an expensive Omakase it was a disaster.

   They did away with counter omakase and only do table omakase. Very disappointing. Not even close to the original experience. Mostly felt like ordering a deluxe sushi platter with some extra dishes. A dollop of caviar here and some uni there but very few luxury items. This is my third time and i won't be back

   Amazing food and service! What a hidden gem in the nice town of Westwood. We thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers (shrimp ceviche & crispy rice with tuna tartar) and main course (donkatsu, sushi / sashimi set, and special rolls). Highly recommend if you are looking for fresh & savory Japanese/Korean food in a clean & classy vibe!

   Ordered the Omakase for two for a birthday dinner. Failed to the service experience one might expect when doing omakase. Server brought first course out before getting water or wine glasses. Server did not check up between courses and when asked for something, forgot and required us to ask someone else. As residents in town we really wanted to love the Omakase experience to return but really fell short.

   Great service from two women covering the entire restaurant. Kudos to their effort and great demeanor always with a smile. Food quality was very good.

   Bon is a very stylish dining experience. Although the food was good, I feel it was overpriced. I had the seaweed salad which was very good and an avocado and cucumber roll which was average.

    I always enjoy the fresh seafood and friendly service at Bon. My go-to order is the S4 Salmon Sushi Combo. For appetizers, the scallop foie gras, spicy sashimi salad, or shrimp ceviche are some of our favorites.
