   I had 2 professional meetings at the Boom and Batten this week. It's a great spot to grab a bite to eat in an uplifting establishment with excellent food and service. Both parties had never visited before, and enthusiastically said they would certainly come back for more.

   This was our 3rd visit to Boom & Batten. We met friends from out of town to join us there for a lunch visit. The four of us all ordered from the brunch menu, specifically the egg's Benedict, Our server, Pauline was excellent providing us with wonderful service and a friendly outgoing personality. This restaurant is situated on the harbour marina with wonderful views of the water and beautiful downtown Victoria.

   Crappy disco beat music spoils the ambience. Try Buble or similar for a chamge.
