When we arrived there was a sign on the door saying it was closed due to staff shortages. No message beforehand. This is not acceptable, and I would not reccomend this place to anyone.

Closed! No warning, non notification, turned up really looking forward to this to find it is permanently closed due to staff shortages. So disappointed !

We have closed due to staffing issues begining of the summer and closed our bookings until further notice so we are unsure how this happened and that you were able to book. We are extremely sorry to let you down with this. We would have never wanted you to turn up to a closed restaurant. We will contact OpenTable to get investigate how this possibly could have happened. Again, we are very sorry.

Restaurant is semi-permanently closed. When we arrived there was a sign in the door explaining that staff shortages had lead them to closing for the summer, suggesting it had been closed for some time (this was in October).

Booma was closed (down), with the lights off, chairs up on tables and a note on the door. It would have been nice if Booma had bothered to close down their website and online booking too, as I had a confirmed birthday reservation with opentable for 5 people at 6pm. We all turned up and were left wandering the streets on a Saturday night looking for an alternative venue. So upsetting. How not to do business.

We booked a table online, arrived on time, yet the place was closed. My advise - close the restaurant for ever. There are many other better alternatives in London.

Well designed interior and great, well prepared and really authentic Indian food. Reminds me of my trips to India.

Hadn’t been to Booma for ages. Would recommend for a quick meal as it’s not a place where you linger. We were out in 45 minutes! Don’t let that put you off as food and service are good.
