Let me start by saying that I didn’t give the establishment 2 stars based upon the food but instead the service. I will give my honest review based upon my experience at Lagos on the evening of Sunday February 26th 2023 once we arrived around 7pm. We had a reservation for 7 guest in celebration of a birthday but they sat us at a table that was clearly only large enough to seat 5 guest comfortably. Luckily 2 guest were unable to attend (which the server was unaware of) so the table ended up working out because the server clearly could care less about our comfortability because when we reminded her, we possibly had 2 more guest who would be joining us, she said that it was the only table available. If the other 2 guest had actually came we would have literally been sitting on each other laps. Our servers name was Oluwatosin A. (check#248, table 201) and she received a nice tip of about $85 which we thought she did not deserve. Once seated, we immediately felt rushed. She came for our drink order and said it was mandatory that we order our appetizers and entrees at the same time. We all felt some type of way about this demand because that isn’t usually the way an order is taken, not to mention the fact that we didn’t have time to really decide what we really wanted to eat and view the menu extensively because of the rush but we complied and made a expedited decision. Normally your drinks come out, followed by your appetizers 5-10 mins later and then followed up by your entree 20-30 mins after if the order is taken in the traditionally correct way. Unfortunately that not how this went. Our drinks and appetizers came out at once which wasn’t that big of a deal but became one when our entrees came out literally 5-7 mins later when we still had plates full of of appetizers on the table, still awaiting our condiments that we requested for them. So now we have a full spread of food of the table with literally no room to put anything else, like we were having a fami

Found this place on tik tok and decided to visit from dc for a friends birthday. Our reservation was for 4:15 pm we got there a little after 4:20 pm and still had to wait a good 15-20 mins, so be prepared to wait. Only downside is there is no real waiting area because the photo ops are next to the entrance/host stand .. so you’ll be bunched up until you’re seated. When we finally were seated though, let me tell you this place is a vibe you do not wanna miss ! From the food, to the dancers, to the Dj, to the beautiful waitresses and their superior service. This place is everything Times Square needed. Dc started the brunch culture but I will say toast on Sundayz turned it up. We will be returning !

It was extremely loud to the point where after leaving I felt like my voice was raspy talking to the people in my party who sat directly next to me. The hostess sat us (party of 3) at a table that clearly comfortably sat 2 persons. Luckily we were able to grab seats at the bar which was much more spacious. The bartenders were a bit slow but very gracious. The drinks were extremely overpriced but I guess that’s what’s paying their time square rent. The food was ok. We went for brunch the best thing we ordered was the grilled snapper off the dinner menu. Definitely a brunch party club vibe. I will say the music was great. I also enjoyed the African dancers.

Overall great experience. The DJ was on point and wished everyone happy birthday numerous times. The dancer were great. The food was ok, really spicy, I was unable to eat. The ambiance was amazing!!!

I have mixed reviews. This place was absolutely amazing. The food 10, service 10, Music 10, Ambiance 10, Drinks 10. My only complaint is I ordered a rum punch that is lit on fire at your table. The glass I had shattered and the hot glass fell on my lap and I have Burns on my inner thighs. I told several of the staff including a supervisor. All I was offered was an apology, I wasn't asked if I was okay and I wasn't given any complimentary items. Aside from that I would most definitely return. I wish they would have take my injuries more seriously, they could have alteast offered me some ice.

Everything was amazing! I celebrated my birthday here & from the service to the accommodations for my guests, to the food, drinks, music, & ambiance! 10/10

We were running a little late and they still honored our reservation past the 15 min grace period…. Very grateful since driving to the city can be a hassle with lots of unexpected traffic!

The food was amazing . The Ambience was everything. Loved the dancers they were a lot of fun . The DJ brought down the restaurant . Will definitely be returning.

Service was horrible. Food order was incorrect, we just ate it because we waited sooooooo long. Made a reservation and wasn’t seated until an hour later. We made the reservation at 12 when they opened.

Overall brunch is a vibe. It’s a pretty new event. Only downfall was that we got our food before our drinks and both were bit delayed. Once we got it all, things were good. Our server was excellent though. They do accommodate you well. DJs were great.
