Chicago’s favorite cabaret & cocktail bar. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Bordel, the Wicker Park cocktail bar and cabaret that has redefined Chicago nightlife through its unique fusion of performance art, live music, and craft cocktails. Since its inception, Bordel has created a space where provocative entertainment, live jazz and creative cocktails converge, becoming a landmark in the city’s cultural landscape.

From the start, Bordel made a point to not only welcome global and avant-garde acts, but to first support and showcase the very best talent in Chicago. Bordel’s stage has featured many of the city's top studio musicians and producers, up-and-coming artists and spectacular limited-run shows. Bordel’s long standing cabaret shows were originally hosted by world-renowned burlesque performer Miss Tosh, Vaudeville by Sally Marvel and AJ Sacco, and are now curated by the inimitable Shimmy LaRoux.

If you are interested in seeing the show up close and personal please be sure to book a "Stage View" reservation. STAGE VIEW TABLES- A $10 PP cover charge will be added for all guests seated in our Stage View table area. This cover goes towards entertainment. By booking and or being seated in the stage view table area, you acknowledge that you understand and accept this charge. Please note that shows generally end by 11:00 PM. When booking a Stage Seating table after this time you will not be charged the Stage Seating fee. THURSDAYS: POP-UP BURLESQUE at 8-8:30PM and 10-10:30PM FRIDAYS: POP-UP BURLESQUE at 8-8:30PM and 10-10:30PM SATURDAYS: POP-UP BURLESQUE at 8-8:30PM and 10-10:30PM EVERY NIGHT DJs TIL LAST CALL

They will sit you in the back room for the burlesque show even if you call ahead and make it known you and there for the show and blame it entirely on OpenTables reservation process. Not to mention they said this happens ALL the time. It was my birthday and we were sat in the back room (party of 10) alongside a bachelor party (party of 10+) who was also there for the show. They also sat us (10 people) at a table size meant for 2 at 7pm which is clearly dinner time. Be cautious if you are having a celebration/large party here there is a chance you will be in the back and won't see the show and sat at an extremely small table. The food and drinks were decent but half of our party had to eat on their laps. Very disappointing experience!

Great atmosphere, fun show and crowd and the steak is one of the best I've ever had.

Went for burlesque show only and reservation system wouldn’t let me get a seat until show was over. Turns out, reservations were not needed for show but no mention was never made of that by venue. Paid $75 to see a show that was over by the time I was able to get in. Couldn’t have been more disappointed with Open Table and the venue with the whole experience

This was the best experience for an early night out. The drinks are fantastic and the girls are gorgeous.

Our server was nice but overall we ran into a lot of complications with our booking for the show and that was disappointing. I booked a stage view two weeks in advance only to be told by the host that it was a booth booking. They sat us in the back where we could barely see the show and the manager did not even come up and speak to us once although I showed our server our online booking email confirmation. I planned my entire birthday night around this show and it was a horrible experience. Either find a better way to accommodate your customers or a better process to reserve tables. If you cannot reserve booths for stage views in advance, then do not offer it as an option on Opentable.

The Bordel is a grown and sexy hang. The craft cocktails are top notch and the service / look of the place is definitely velvety. This is a place not to be missed especially with people you love.

Had a great time. Burlesque show was very entertaining. Everyone had a great attitude and provided excellent service. Five stars for Erin for going above and beyond in handling our back to back reservations on Friday and Saturday. We'll definitely be back.
