The dead come to life at Borracha. With decorative and festival skulls watching over guests, Borracha, located in Green Valley Ranch, is as dangerous as you want it to be. With a nod toward the famed Day of the Dead, the Borracha offers Mexican-inspired dishes and features a drink menu with an abundance of cervezas, tequila and specialty cocktails to take the edge off. The menu is as seductive as the surroundings, featuring sharable plates, inventive burritos and entrees that would make any skeleton want come back to life. Middle of the road in all aspects. Food was flavorful but portion size on one plate was huge and on the other small. The chips were great! The drinks were good. Not some place I would revisit since it was pretty pricey for what you got.

Food was great as usual. We eat here very often and constantly great every time. Service was and lately has been inconsistent. Took forever to get our drinks, refill the chips and salsa, refill our drinks and order out meal. Kept seeing our waitress come from the back chewing?!? Once we ordered food came out quickly, as it was brought out by food runners. But once again refills took forever and never asked if we needed anything from main waitress. This has been how the service is for several months!

Service was decent but food was less than desirable. Literally the WORST steak tacos I’ve ever eaten. Beans and rice had zero flavor and meat was dry and hard. Definitely NOT fresh. Chipotle would’ve been better. Definitely need to have a look at the kitchen and consider making some much needed changes in order to improve food quality.

Overall good experience. Wish we were handed the menu when we were seated as we waited 5-10 minutes twiddling our thumbs when we could have been looking at the menu. We suggested to the GM that the hostess give customers the menus as they are seated. Food was excellent. Only complaint is that the house margarita of medium size with mostly ice is $17 (on a Sat night).
