My sister had been looking all over the city for a beef Wellington and Boston Chops Downtown has one of the few in the city. It did not disappoint and she said it was one of the best meals of her life. We all had a bit of the beef Wellington and it was fantastic. The tuna app was great and our server, Jack, was friendly and very helpful! he knew the menu and had some good recommendations.

Kyle, Thank you for the kind words! We're happy you were able to find us, and the Wellington! We are lucky to have someone like Jack, that's for sure. We look forward to seeing you again, soon. Best, Zach and the DTX Team

We have tried all the top steak houses in Boston and this one is hands down the best for value, quality and all in an incredible setting. We recently enjoyed their Dine Out Boston menu which is ridiculously good value.

Hanger steak, normally my favorite cut for steak, was sinewy and lacked flavor. Maybe it should be marinated in Coke. Lump crab cake was dry and overpriced for the portion size. Fries were generic.

I visited Boston Chops for the second time, because the first time I had a horrible experience with a server and was given a $100 gift card to return. The second time time around was no different from the first time. The service isn't great, the food isn't great. I made a reservation and still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. The kitchen forgot to make the sides for the table, drinks had to be remade. The menu is lacking. I do not want another gift card to return. I will never go back and I will never recommend this place to anyone. Definitely not Steak House or fine dining quality.

Great dinner with friends at Boston Chops last night. Had reservations at the bar and we were seated promptly. Our bartender, Lucas, was exceptional with both drink and food suggestions, and overall attentiveness. It was a very busy night at the bar, but Lucas was still able to provide us with terrific service.

First time to Boston Chops and we were a bit disappointed overall. The music was loud and more like being in a dance club instead of a fine dining steak restaurant.

Very underwhelming… 1) asked to sit at the bar, said they didn’t have anything available, but seats were reserved for most of the night unoccupied. 2) service was a little slow, she seemed new and was trying her best. 3) Food came out cold and had to send back twice 4) service bar was over their head and the drinks reflected it. At that price point food and service should be top notch. It was not. ☹️

This was one of our best recent dining experiences. We started with burrata salad and french onion soup. From there, the chateaubriand was perfect. For sides, we had the mushrooms, spicy broccoli, au gratin potatoes and a half order of onion rings. Service was great. We cant wait to go back!

The team went above and beyond for us so we could have a terrific meal and still make our show despite half our group arriving late. Cannot express enough how great our service was from Jay our server and the whole team.

Food was great, service was good. The Mac and cheese came out cold, was quickly corrected. But at a place at this for such a high price point, things should be correct the first time.
