Botanery Barn Distillery & Bistro, formerly Brandywine Branch Distillers, Founded by Don Avellino and Scott Avellino, is a new small batch micro-distillery located in Pennsylvania’s bucolic Chester County. Brandywine Branch Distillers inhabits a lovingly restored 130-year-old barn, located on an eight-acre property and exclusively produces everything on site utilizing handcrafted methods. The Revivalist Gins™, is an award winning portfolio of four unique and small-batch expressions: Equinox, Summertide, Harvest, and Solstice. I was part of a party of 6 last night and they sat us directly in front of two musicians. It was very hard to hear the people at my table talk. I wished they would have sat us somewhere else. Otherwise food and service was great

Loved our visit to the distillery. Excellent drinks and food was amazing. Thanks to the manager for the distillery tour during what was a busy time. We really enjoyed our visit!

This is truly a hidden gem in Chester County. The aesthetic is an old barn, complete with stone walls and wooden ceiling beams. They distill their own gin and bourbon and the drink menu is truly unique and tasty. And you get a pretty large bourbon drink for the price! The menu is on the limited side, but everything we've tried is great. One of the best burgers you'll ever have, and the pork tacos are another go-to staple. I highly recommend reservations Friday/Saturday to ensure you'll get a seat. Note they do have live music Friday and Sat, so be aware if you're seated in the bar area. It's on the small side, so the noise level will be louder. I would 100% give this a try if you are on the fence.

Our go to spot! Love the food, drinks and staff. Built a nice gazebo outside but should have included a patio. Tables on grass are a bit unsteady.

I love this place because it is local (I'm an Elverson resident) and the drinks are better than you'll get anywhere. Their gin is over the top good. Their live music is also very good. Last evening's experience was less than ideal because the table of 6 beside us was very loud and because I ordered an open face Cuban sandwich which was very greasy. If you're looking for a small place with atmosphere, good music and good drinks, this is the place for you. But, I wouldn't come if you don't want to spend $$ (food and drinks are pricey) and if eating options and portions are important to you.
