With just 18 seats in front of our fully open kitchen, Bottarga offers a rare, intimate dining experience where you can witness the magic unfold. We love the Italian inspired fine dining dishes, that innovatively uses some Australian bush/native ingredients to enhance their dishes and add a touch of local flavours. The service is excellent, and BYO is allowed on midweek days (Tues to Thurs I believe) which is another reason my friends and I love dining at this place. They provide very good stem ware in which to serve our fine wines.

Absolutely brilliant! Outstanding food, excellent service and comfortable atmosphere. We had a wonderful time and will never forget the Scallop crudo - what a delight!

As always, a great dining experience. The food was fantastic and the service was top notch even though the restaurant was packed and busy.

Hands down one of the best culinary experiences of my life. Every dish is perfectly balanced in flavour, consistency and colour. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional and the wine wilst has no end. Cannot report even the slightest issue, the staff is ready to help on every aspect and with the open space kitchen you can see everything happening all around, very tidy and clean. If I ever come back to Melbourne this will be on my MUST list and I'll definitely recommend this venue to all friends visiting the city.

Absolutely amazing Christmas lunch. The food was perfection, the staff were so lovely and we felt like royalty. Great wine list and super nice sommelier to guide us. We will def be returning to check out the rest of the menu.

Outstanding food, wonderful attentive and friendly service (but not stifling). Have been here a few times - incredible value for money! Impressive and extensive wine list. Most recently, the 2024 Christmas lunch. Wonderful experience, can't wait to come back. Thank you Bottarga!

Such an amazing way to be served Xmas lunch. Exquisite food- presentation and taste. This is our 2nd time. Don’t know how- but it was even better than the first time. Felt very special indeed. Staff were very attentive too. Still dreaming about my experience ❤️
