BOUCHERIE is a traditional French brasserie and steakhouse, celebrating Joie de Vivre. The restaurant prepares a menu of French classics and timeless bistro favorites, in addition to the dry-aged steaks. In addition to an extensive wine list and classic drinks, a beverage program that boasts an inspired menu of absinthe-driven signature cocktails. Surrounded by walls of majestic wooden-framed mirrors and original Belle Époque posters, seating at our Union square location varies among pristine white marble and wood bistro tables, cozy burgundy leather booths, a 32ft. handmade pewter bar, and an option for a 40-guest private room, to make the 222-seat restaurant feel timeless.

          Great experience! The only bad thing is that we went with a baby and the don’t have a place to change the baby in the bathroom

          We dined during holidays, very festive decorations and tree. Highlights were the cocktails and half price wine (which is just a reasonable markup), the French onion soup was flavorful and rich, and mussels were delicious. Highly disappointed in the steak frites, this was a choice cut steak and best and very tough even though ordered and arrived medium rare. The duck was also quite good. Get the frites regardless. For he price, I thought the overall meal was expensive for the quality, but great service and ambience.

          We were not presented with the Prix Fixe Lunch menu until we asked for it. Service was slow and the food was average at best. Nice place but has clearly become a tourist destination.

          Excellent food , service beautiful environment, great holiday decorations, great drinks, friendly staff. This is a restaurant to keep coming , the menu is amazing , lot of choices. Glad to have it in NYC
