Every mouthful of food was tasty, the waiter was good and the ambience was just the ticket. We met a German business contact and wanted to show him great food in Covent Garden and it was just that.

We had high hopes but it was meh. Our son’s steak frites was really poor quality meat.. server was efficient tho no extra attention at all with refilling water etc. Consolation: bread/olives/drinks made us happy. So many good places in London and from this one we just came away disappointed.

Second visit here and will come again. This is the absolute perfect place for a lunch with friends. The food is really good - all the classics. Nice wines. Staff are excellent, friendly and never rushed. When I compare this place with the chains at similar price levels - so the Ivy restaurants, Balthazar (across the road) and Cote - this is night and day better. Can't wait to return.

Food was overall delicious. Service started out good but then trailed off. Dessert was ordered, 15 min later still hadn’t gotten it, and when waiter was asked he said it would be out in a minute. After another 15 min passed, still hadn’t gotten dessert (slice of cheesecake, should have taken a few minutes). We had to ask AGAIN, and he ended up taking it off the bill but not even offering it to us.

Service and welcome were excellent. We had the warm winter salad with chicken and a half bottle of wine and loved it… would definitely go again.

Simple room above stairs from restaurant. Mildly decorated. Beware they charge you a 25% service.

Our two reservations were linked upon request so the entire group could sit together plus they accommodated an extra person. Drinks were great, food was great, the waiter had a personality and was very attentive and accommodating. We all thoroughly enjoyed the evening there

Would definitely return when in London again. Ambiance was great. Had the pre theatre Prixe Fixe menu. Meal was reasonably good with prompt and giod service during a busy period. Reasonable value for money, although the Boeuf Bourgignion classic French brasserie food wasn’t the best I’ve had.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Would definitely eat here again! Easy to book online too.
