Located on First and Main in the heart of downtown Napa and housed in an historic 1880’s building, the Bounty Hunter Wine Bar & Smokin’ BBQ has been voted “Best Wine Bar in Napa Valley” for years running. The old-West themed Wine Bar features an incredible wine list, over 40 wines by the glass with tasting flights, artisan beers, and a full lunch and dinner menu created by Chef Mark Johnston. The Beef brisket, Pulled pork, and our signature Beer can chicken are the best in the West! The Wine Bar is open late on the weekends, which means you’ll have plenty of time to rub elbows with some of Napa’s local winemakers.

Of course, the main reason to come to Bounty Hunter is the wine. Wine connoisseurs will not be disappointed with the variety, as there are over 400 highly allocated wines adorning the shelves for retail purchase or to enjoy while dining with us. I’ve been to Bounty Hunter many times and this time the burger didn’t seem quite as good as normal . I ordered it medium rare, and it was definitely medium. No pink at all. The appetizer wings and poppers were very good and someone in our group got the sliders and those were really good. The cornbread was very good. I would give it 4 1/2 or 5 stars because Service was fine and the waitress was very pleasant but the hamburger for $22 should be cooked right and a little bit better as I think it used to be. Maybe they changed the meat source?…but something was different.

Food and service was outstanding. Nice bar. It was a rainy day and the restaurant was warm and comfortable. BBQ is some of the best in town. Plenty of healthy options also. Delicious smoked chicken wings.

WOW FACTOR? BBQ sample of ribs, brisket and pulled pork between 2:30 and 5:00 was just the right size for dinner. HAVE AGAIN: Potato soup with spinach was delicious. Ribs were very good. Pulled pork good. House BBQ sauce was very good. NOT HAVE AGAIN: Brisket was a bit fatty.

Really good experience at Bounty Hunter. Food was good and freshly cooked, and the drinks were very nice.

I have dined here before and it was good. I had the French dip and it tasted good except for the ajus good have had more flavor. Side dishes could be larger for the price. Tasty beer and the staff was nice.

Disappointed. Booked the swip and swirl via OpenTable, only to be told that it wasn't going on. The server was more occupied with putting away glasses than out table. Sadly I can't recommend this place. But their smiles chicken wings are amazing.

Food is great. Not overly smoky. Sauces are tasty especially there regular one. We had cheese plate shared by 4 people, 1/2 slab and slidrts. Sliders are a great way to get a taste of different meats for 1 person. Ordered whisky flight. Not that impressed by offerings. First had so much alcohol it burned my nose and ruined it for the ear. Was able to get the plentiful smoke from #2. Not worth it imo. Fun date nite or with friends.
