Well - it seemed like it took a long time for our server to come to our table, then a long time for drinks to arrive, but then things sped up a bit. The NY strip was excellent, although slightly more done than I had expected. The server did offer to bring a new one, but it wasn't worth the wait to me. The sauteed spinach was VERY salty and had a ton of garlic. Next time I will ask for just plain spinach. I really could barely eat it. I like this place, but this visit was slightly disappointing. It was also VERY noisy, which detracted from the experience.

The ambiance was nice and the service was good but the food was very underwhelming. Steak wasn't cooked properly, ordered the 14 ounce bone in filet, was lucky if there was 6 ounces of meat in it. Flavor was bland and the sides weren't anything special. With an abundance of great steakhouses available, it's hard to recommend this one.

The hostess was rude. The steaks we ordered flambe and it was very disappointing and not worth the $20. Spilling the check between our parties was correct several times. Not worth the money in my opinion .

This may be the place for bourbon enthusiasts but the food was mediocre. We ordered the stuffed dates. They were huge. The blue cheese was not our favorite pairing. Our New York strip was also overcooked and the broccoli gratin was more like broccoli in a thin cheese sauce. It was a very busy place and great for people watching.

Our recent visit to this steakhouse was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve ever had. For a restaurant that markets itself as fine dining, the service, food, and overall experience were unacceptable. From the start, we were set up for disappointment. We were on time for our 6:15 reservation and unfortunately seated near the door, an awkward and uncomfortable spot, and weren’t given menus. When my wife politely asked for a black napkin to match her attire, she was laughed at—completely unprofessional. It took 15 minutes just to receive menus, and in that time, not a single server stopped by our table. Service continued to be painfully slow. Since we weren’t given menus when initially seated, we weren’t even able to order drinks until about 30 minutes later—the first opportunity we had. Even then, they didn’t arrive for about 25 minutes after we had placed the order. After finally ordering appetizers—an hour after being seated—we sat there waiting, looking around for our server so we could order our entrées. Eventually, we had to flag him down just to place our dinner order. It was clear that attentiveness was not a priority. The food itself was no better. The mozzarella appetizer was rock-hard and nearly inedible. Our steaks were served on cold plates, and the sides weren’t plated for us—a basic expectation at a fine dining steakhouse. To make matters worse, after our entrées arrived, our server disappeared, leaving us without any further assistance for the rest of the meal. Adding insult to injury, I had noted when making the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, yet there was no acknowledgment of it whatsoever. Given that our bill was over $600 before gratuity—for a party of four, with only two people having drinks—this was an outrageous and unacceptable experience. Bourbon and Bones completely missed the mark in every way.

From the drinks to the food to our service, everything was phenomenal. I recommend the smoked cocktails, flambé dinner and butter cake for dessert. You’ll love it all. If you want to feel extra special, ask for Chad! He’ll make sure your stay is memorable!

The food and service was second to none. Our server was very attentive to our allergies and made very good recommendations. We loved the energy in the restaurant as well.
