Bourbon & Bones Chophouse and Bar is a chef-driven, sophisticated steakhouse and bar.     B&B delivered for us yet again! Everything was exceptional—food, service and ambience. My steak was perfectly prepared, and the sides were delicious! We will be back sooner versus later.

    Today was our first time trying B&B. During Christmas they had a promo for their gift cards so I got $200 and received $50. I saved it until today to celebrate my son's 17th birthday because we really wanted to try some of their specialty steak and happy hour options. We had two people who took care of us while we dined. The bus boy (I assume) Chase was excellent. Very personable, friendly, professional, what you would expect from a restaurant at this price point. Our server was fine, nothing good or bad to say about her. We loved the hot rock steak and the steak frites from the happy hour menu was good too, so we were off to a good start. We also ordered the shrimp pesto appetizer and the 24 oz. Bone in Ribeye Oscar style with lobster truffle mac n cheese. The shrimp was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The steak which we ordered medium rare came rare ( even the server agreed). Unfortunately each course came in about 20 - 30 minutes after one another so we sat around waiting for so long, by the time we got the steak it had already been an hour and half and didn't want to wait for them to put it back on the grill. The steak did have a good sear on it and it was flavorful but hard to cut and just not as enjoyable if it had been cooked properly. The crab topping and the lobster in the mac in cheese were both disappointing. They were both super salty and tasted like they were pre frozen. Our server surprised my son with a complimentary butter cake which was super nice, but we both agreed it was way too sweet. I'm glad we didn't pay the $16 it cost to buy it otherwise we would have been even more disappointed. Unfortunately, this place was just okay for us. Besides the hot rock steak, there wasn't anything memorable or special about the food and at this price point I expect it to be better. When I read reviews about this place prior, it seems like it's hit or miss. I can't imagine recommending this restaurant, it was a one and done for us at least from this experience.

    We celebrated a birthday here and it was a great experience. The staff all around was 5 stars, great personalities and attention to detail. The GM does a great job and always makes us feel welcome. We had a long fun dinner. Highly recommend the hot rock appetizer and the cream spinach!

    Our service team was amazing; they were attentive but not overwhelming. Our meals were fantastic. The presentation of the tomato and mozzarella salad is perfection. I'm a little disappointed that they don't offer corkage as the dinner would have paired nicely with our favorite wine, but the bottle purchased was good.

    This restaurant is over rated, they wanted ten dollars a piece for a shrimp cocktail, in Hight Tide you get five of the largest most delicious shrimp for 24 dollars. Twenty dollars for a six oz pour of wine is a joke. My wife and I both had the 6 oz filet. Including a tip our meal cost 250 dollars, at The Keg you can get the same quality meal for half the price. There is nothing special about bourbon and Bone. If you want to spend this kind of money go to Mastros steak house or the Ocean Club.
