Bourbons is a lively and popular spot, perfect for enjoying southern-style cuisine and creative cocktails. "excellent cocktails" and "mouthwatering" dishes like fried chicken and Mushroom pizza are highlights. The service is "fantastic," with standout servers like Shane and Paul. Great place, all four of us loved our dinners as well as appetizers. Great cocktails too. Try the shrimp and grits.

Our waiter was great. He gave us exceptional service in a very, tight, crowded restaurant. Our table was okay- a weird compliant - but I had to sit on a cushion which was actually the juncture of two cushions at a small table for two, couldn’t go either direction due to people on both sides of us, when the guy got up on my left - that cushion went up, heavier lady to the left it went down- this seat was not very comfortable for a thinner person, maybe push the small table to the left or right to make a table for six or four. Even tried sitting on my coat. The food was good. Could have been warmer, but good timing of the appetizer to main entrees. The atmosphere seemed chaotic and rushed - we were in and out in 45 minutes. We have come here on non- holidays and it was much more relaxed- so will assume it was just the holiday.

Bourbons is upscale casual with a cool vibe and a great location right downtown Brighton. The food is consistently good. My favorite is the Southern Crispy Salad with their buttermilk fried checken - delicious! Husband says the ribs are very good. The only negatives are, it's very crowded and the noise level is really bad. Husband and I were wedged in a table for two with really close tables on each side. It was hard to have a conversation and we could hear everyone around us easier than each other. Go for the food (it's worth it) but just know it's going to be crowded and noisy!

Experience and food was below average for overpriced breakfast. Will not be back for breakfast. My daughter could barely eat one of the breakfast “specials” which looked terrible and while I would have liked to send it back she insisted on me not bringing it up even though she maybe ate 3 bites. Nonetheless, not even a “how was your food” or “did you not like the dish?” from the server. If you’re going to try be an upscale brunch place and charge upscale prices, act like it by having upscale food and service. The other 3 meals were not much better. Croissant sandwich was soggy. The other 2 meals were decent.

Our first time, over the Christmas holidays, was enjoyable, but nearly ruined by the noise level. It never fails to confound us why modern restaurants insist on a noise level equal to a jet engine. The open hard ceiling bounces noise back, and loud music doesn’t help. Focus on the food ( which is quite good), the service (excellent) and allow people to visit each other.

Nice night out. Very noisy but still enjoyable. Drinks were good but wish old fashioned had big cube not just normal ice. Food was good. I had pork ends from app menu, too much sauce. But the rest of our food was really good. Service was excellent!

Ordered blackened salmon, served with no seasoning and when asked why they were surprised it was missed. Only offered to provide seasoning on the side which doesn’t go very well. Expensive meal

Fabulous time, as always, though with the holidays and large table groups we had to wait 30 minutes beyond our reservation time to get seated. The cocktails and food never disappoint so it was worth the wait! If you are a first timer, the entry way doesn't have a lot of waiting space and the bar fills up, so take that into consideration.

We got there early and got seated promptly. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was good and priced very fair. Portions were large. Wine list offered a good selection.

Incredible food, outstanding service but very loud. The southern fare was a great change from the ordinary restaurant fare. We’ll definitely return!
