Bramley is a neighbourhood restaurant nestled in the heritage town of Abbeyleix.
Husband & wife; Sam & Emily Moody undertook a careful and considered refurbishment of this historic space to create a relaxed-elegant dining room re-capturing the historic feel of this beautiful building.
I the kitchen we celebrate Irish food using the very best of Laois’ larder & exceptional Irish suppliers. The menu is simple, seasonal, exciting and diverse.
Everybody is welcome to dine at Bramley; a friendly, relaxed & knowledgeable team allow guests to enjoy an at-ease Lunch or Dinner experience.

Both the food and the service were amazing. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and seated promptly. The dining room was warm feeling and we had plenty of space to the other tables. The staff gave detailed descriptions of the menu and the specials available, and wine and drinks were served promptly. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. It was also hearty and we all left satisfied but not over full. We were under no pressure by staff to leave once finished. It was a great night and will definitely be returning again and again.

Excellent - we love Bramleys. Once again the tasting menu with wine pairing is top notch. Fantastic food and wine.

Bramley is always consistent have eaten there a few times the food is always lovely and the service so friendly. There is no rush there is a decent gap between courses and you do not feel they want you out of there to get another cover in. Only thing I would change would be a better selection of zero beers, but it is not a huge place so clearly there are limitations to what they can realistically have. If you are undecided go for it Bramley’s is a little gem.

Sure! Here’s a polished review for you: Brambley was hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Ireland. Everything was absolute perfection—from the ambiance to the impeccable service and, of course, the outstanding food. Pure brilliance. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Amazing food and lovely atmosphere in the resteraunt. Very accommodating and the staff are all lovely . Highly reccomend for a great night out

We had the tasting menu. Stunning food with never ending attention to detail on every course. Attentive, unobtrusive, well trained staff. Will be back.

We had the taster menu. Food was absolutely amazing. Art on a plate. Great value too for a taster menu of such high quality. Cocktails were excellent too. Beautiful clean and calm restaurant. Staff were friendly but not pushy. Staff were very knowledgeable about all the ingredients and courses we had. I would highly recommend Bramley.
