The ambiance was very nice when we were 1st seated, but then the restaurant got crowded at extremely loud. We enjoyed our salads and I liked my mahi mahi. My husband had the Kansas City Strip steak and it was not a very good piece of meat, fat and tendons all through it so chewy & hard to eat. My key line pue was not ket lime pie. It was some of the ingredients under a mass of charred meringue. Our server, Joanne, was very sweet and great, until her section was over sat. Then we had to wait awhile to get her attention. Not her fault, it just got super busy.

Everything was good that we ate, but they were out of a lot of menu items we came to try. Filet was cooked to correct temp and tasty. Mac and cheese was really good, the pasta dish was good but not a lot of middle for $22 and no meat. Server was very nice and attentive, but we did feel a little rushed to leave after having 9:30 reservation. The music was strange for the restaurant vibe and not loud enough so you could hear everyone’s conversations. Pretty restaurant but wish they had what we came for.

Excellent steakhouse experience. Perfectly prepared, flame broiled steaks with just the right amount of char. Unique presentation with roasted garlic and coarse salt on the side. The grilled octopus appetizer was fabulous and enough for a meal onto itself. Good wine list. Attentive service.

It was my wife’s 50th birthday and we had an amazing time. The food was phenomenal. Without asking they brought us birthday dessert with a sparkler and my wife loved it.

Best restaurant at the Westin. Had Mahi, Filet mignon, Mac n cheese, key lime dessert. Everything was outstanding. There is not a dress code, Some outdoor Eating, bar, it gets very loud with large groups and DJ playing music. Service was great.

We ate at Brassa two nights while staying at the Westin. The food on both nights was excellent overall. We had the wedge salad, the cauliflower steak, the filet mignon, the mahi mahi, the Kansas striploin and the NY striploin. All of these were great, with the exception of the mahi mahi -- it was a very small portion and it was overcooked. The NY striploin was slightly better than the Kansas striploin but they were both really good. Both nights we had the mac and cheese side dish - the preparation was very different on the second night (not sure why? maybe a different chef). On the second night, it was very cheesy and flavorful -- first night, it was good, but more creamy and less cheesy. The server on the first night recommended the key lime pie for dessert -- which turned out to be a tiny, tiny bit of key lime pie with a HUGE mound of meringue on top. It was really terrible and the only significant miss in terms of the food. On our first night here, the service was atrocious. The hostess completely ignored us for a lengthy period of time upon arrival and seemed to be wandering the floor engaging in low priority tasks while we stood there waiting for over 10 minutes (with tables available!). Once we got seated, the service got a little better but only mildly so. It was exceptionally slow (even by Caribbean standards). As an example, we got our appetizers long before our two cocktails arrived. Service the second night was a little bit better. The biggest drawback to this restaurant, however, is the noise level. It's not to be believed how loud it gets. To make matters worse, they had a DJ playing the first night we were there. We could barely here each other speak. We chose to endure it since the food quality was overall pretty good.
