Valentine’s dinner was not great. Steak was tough and food overall was eh. Service was good. Definitely not worth the +$100 per person.

Great meal. A little pricey and odd that there was a service charge on top of an included 20% gratuity. Weirdly long gap between the dinner course and dessert, when the desserts all seemed to be pre prepared anyways. This was a special menu on Valentine's Day ymmv.

We went for an early Valentine’s dinner even though they did not yet offer the special menu. Our server was not in black pants, white shirt like the others. He had on regular clothes. He was not trained and had a gruff demeanor. It seemed he was new or untrained. His service was fine, but not professional. We ordered Chateaubriand for two Medium Rare. It was overdone, except for the middle. We should have sent it back, but Guy was carving and the sides were all there and hot. For $140 they should be able to cook a filet for two correctly as ordered. The appetizers and sides were all great. They had a special wine menu but were out of our choice. The server revealed that the special wine menu is “just odds and ends of wines they had left over for the week” (that is an exact quote) so they ran out. The subbed choice was very good though and provided for the same price. The cheesecake seemed it had been frozen but the pecans on top were great. Bread costs an extra $3 (at a French white tablecloth restaurant?) which is petty for a place this expensive. The place was pretty empty and we can see why. We have been there many times before and it’s been very good. Not sure we will be back. We are at St. Elmo in Indy and it was cheaper. Makes me sad as there are not that many French places in Louisville.

My wife and I had lunch. My wife loves french onion soup and says theirs is the best. We had an assortment of olives to start. I had the special sandwich which was excellent. We haven't been there in some time, but we've always been happy with our food. This time was no exception. We'll be back.

We love this restaurant! The black bean cake is the best vegan meal in town! And the ambience is perfect for a subdued supper with friends.

Overlooked gem in an unsuspecting strip mall. Wanted to try for a while. My sister praised it a few months ago after going. Food prepared with genuine care, knowledge, skill and work. Those au gratin potatoes are probably the best thing to ever happen to a potato! Will be going back. Thank you Tom, our server.
