   We had a very enjoyable dinner here tonight. We both ordered veal dishes. They were both way better than those from Italian restaurants we normally frequent in Marin and Sonoma counties. We shared a great bottle of Lola pinot noir. Service was very good. Can't think of more compliments to add. We will be back next time we're in Calistoga.

   The waiter was excellent. The cooking staff was excellent. The food was delicious. We order various items and they all were exceptional.

   While I enjoyed my pasta dish, I thought it was overpriced. My friend had the lasagna and neither one of us liked it. The restaurant was noisy.

   Delicious authentic Italian food!!! Get the lasagna. The beef carpaccio is LEGIT…as well as the Caesar salad. Foccacia bread. Wine was good. Martini was large and perfect. Service was superb! GO HERE!!!

   Wonderful local place with great food. The owner is terrific as is the bartender/waiter. The owner even offered us a ride back to our hotel if our ride didn’t show up.

   It got very busy (good for them);the one server was moving so fast & I felt somewhat ignored- could be because we were on a gift certificate, which didn’t seem to please him. My partner was very happy with her meal, I was very disappointed there were extremely limited vegetarian options- only with tomato sauce, which I didn’t really want.Ended up with chicken which was a bit tough- like if I could have gotten the attention of the server would have asked for a steak knife. Taste was fine, nothing special. Mashed potatoes were really good. Caesar salad- bland with no croutons k& no extra cheese or pepper offered. Finally he couldn’t deal with the extra amount I was owed on my gift certificate, so was told it would show up on the card, it did.

   Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and delicious! The flavors are reminiscent of the food in Italy, often having subtle flavors that blend together to make a delicious taste. the chef is too notch! The staff is very nice and professional, and takes good care of the diners. The owner is charming, and runs things smoothly, supporting his staff when help is needed. The inside reminds me of one of the old time Italian restaurants in San Francisco. We look forward to eating here again in the future! flavors are reminiscent of the food in Italy, often having subtle flavors that blend together to make a delicious hole.

    Fun place and very good menu. Food is slightly better than your typical Italian restaurant run by Americans. The Eggplant Rollatini is exceptional. The veal saltimboca is delish too. Noisy and a little hurried.
