The primary and private dining rooms are located in the original first floor gathering spaces. The intimate restaurant deftly juxtaposes modern orange vinyl chairs with black and white portraits of Bridgehampton’s agrarian history, handblown glassware with delicate seasonal flowers. Featuring one-on-one service, the restaurant cozily seats 50 while offering a more relaxed atmosphere in the warm months on our private patio, which has been reconfigured to capture the beauty and peacefulness of our Inn’s garden.
Our thoughtfully playful dinner menus change bi-weekly, with the season, and feature the best available, locally-gathered ingredients. That means 800+ recipes a year - how exciting! Each week: the menu consistently serves a form of duck and fish, an iteration of the fritter - lobster, artichoke, zucchini - and our all-time favorite cheeses found at Loaves & Fishes Food Store on cheese stones.

What a wonderful evening and way to spend with someone special. The food was delicious, the drinks were a marvel and even the other guests were a pleasure to be in the company of. That said the staff had a cohesive, calm elevated demeanor that set the stage a memorable night. I’ll be bringing my family back for a breakfast so they can experience its charm as well.

Always wonderful service and innovative dishes to try. Very accommodating staff. Classic and warm ambience. We go for special occasions a couple of times a year and have a wonderful evening.

The Inn is a special place and always delivers superb food and service. They greet you like a regular and make you feel welcome. The atmosphere is cosy and beautiful. It’s our favorite place in the Hamptons

Best Meal in the Hamptons! Excellent in every way. A bit pricey but you absolutely get what you pay for. A modern with classic base culinary delight. And our host is always welcoming and charming.

After many years of excellent meals, I had the best meal ever last night at BHI. The poached oysters and Dover sole were a religious experience. Kyle’s craft cocktails were stellar and it was marvelous to see Glenn and John before they are off on their well-deserved January vacation. AND….Elena was on top form; it’s always a delight to see her. Have a good break and see you in February.
