The restaurant is an old cannery and has been converted beautifully. Large planking floors, high ceilings and a gorgeous selection of wines and spirits displayed everywhere. Enjoy NW Bistro inspired fare from our scratch kitchen with a dynamic, breathtaking 270 degree waterfront views from the main floor or mezzanine levels.

Oysters were great, fish overcooked, one of two wine by the glass Edna Valley Chardonnay was undrinkable - probably the last pour from a bottle kept open far too long. Kitchen is very slow. Manager/Host was a grump. Table Service was excellent - a nice contrast to the food. Very pricey for slim quality of food. After dinner we were told that this restaurant had changed ownership a year ago and its former quality has declined since.

The vibe was odd. We made reservations in advance. When we showed up, one of the two people at the front said "oh yeah we have your reservation", then walked away into the restaurant. We asked the other person standing there if we should follow and he said "I have the same question". Then he showed us to a high top right next to the bar. I had to go back and ask for an actual table in the restaurant, which they reluctantly switched us to. Our server seemed stressed, she came over to us quickly and seem relieved when we werent ready to order. Not terrible, just odd. The food itself was mediocre- nothing was hot, everything was warmish. The crab cheesecake was tasty, but kind of lukewarm and small. The brussels sprouts were very burnt and not hot. The bouillabaisse was disappointing- the fish was fresh and there was a lot of it, but the sauce lacked flavor, it just tasted like tomato sauce and the risotto was not great. There are not a lot of fine dining restaurants in Astoria, but there are plenty of funky interesting places that would probably be a better use of your night out.

Really slow service. Everyone is nice, which I appreciate, but waiting an hour for the main course is just too long. In a situation like this, a complimentary drink or a real update on timing would go a long way. Hearing "they're coming right out" multiple times isn’t great. Lovely room, very good food—maybe it was just a bad night.

Best Valentine's Day Dinner ever. Prawn salad and a tenderloin. Blood Orange Margarita and a Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned for drinks. It is walking distance from the Cannery Pier Hotal. Makes for a very romantic weekend

Good menu, lots of GF options, Staff is friendly and helpful. Music was great, you do sit close to others, not much for privacy but very nice experience.

Normally decent but failed on valentines day. Atmosphere was good. Some candles on some tables were lit but the rest just sat there till we asked the server to please light our candle. He said he would have to search for a lighter? He later returned and started lighting the rest of the candles upstairs. Service good as always. We went for valentines day and had reservations. Seated about 15 minutes after reservation time. About the same time as those without reservation. They were busy so no big deal there but I guess we did not really reservations. Got seated upstairs. FREEZING COLD!!! Avoid being seated up there on cool days. Manger was up there many times - take a hint, when all your patrons are dining in their winter jackets you may want to turn up the heat. There is a fireplace upstairs but we were told that they never use it and had no idea how to turn on. Had it not been valentine's day with no chance of anyone else having seats available - we would have left immediately. Had it not been a special occasion - but very borderline and discussed whether we should stay or not. Food came out about an hour later - it was valentine's day so delays are expected. COLD FOOD was not. The steak was flavorful and warn - cooked right but served late and cold. I'm sure the cold temps upstairs did not help. All of the sides, vegetables, potatoes etc. were barely room temperature. We can only assume they were trying to be fast by prepping plates early and then adding the main entree last - but were busy and by the time it was plated and arrived - it was cold. No sense sending it back to wait even longer and who knows what else. Normally a decent place to eat but a definite fail on Valentine's day. Worth a try on any normal day but would not advise on busy days.

Not a fan of this seasonal menu, the one in the summer time is great. None of the items we got were cooked to perfection which I expect at this price point. Brussels were drenched in sauce and soggy, the soup was at most 8oz for $18 and slimy, the chicken with seasonal veggies was broccoli… for $42… the waitress was good, she accommodated us by removing items off of our bill which was appreciated.
