I’ve dined at Portside Pier Brigantine, and what a totally different experience. My husband’s steak was a very poor cut but we shrugged it off. The wedge salad was mediocre. The temp dropped significantly b/c the giant garage door was open. I had on a sweater and boots and was freezing. We were inside about as close to the kitchen as you can get, so there was nowhere to move. The dessert was what did us in. The s’more brownie came out 1/2 melted and sloppily thrown together. I care more about the taste so we dug in. It might be the first dessert we’ve never finished. The brownie was dry and burnt to the point we couldn’t eat it. I mentioned it to the server (who had been attentive up to this point), asking if it’s supposed to be almost crunchy. He replied “yeah it has a bit of crisp” and he ran our card. I guess we’ll stick to the Portside and Coronado locations!

We sat at the bar. The drinks were excellent and the service and food were outstanding. We will be back.

My experience at the Brig was amazing ! My family and I have eaten at this place before but this time around was the best! Not that I’m saying anything bad about this place from pst experience, it’s always been up to par, however it was my birthday and they brought such a joy to the night. I was greeted by a lady name Jackie I believe that was her name and she was filled with such a light and sat us right away! Matt was our waiter and took care of us always checked up on us made sure everything was great! Shoutout to Matt and Jackie they were awesome! Food was also amazing !
