   Gold leaf that was here before was our favourite Yum Cha!. Bright Palace is highly overpriced, slow and the food is OK but not spectacular like Gold Leaf was. This is our 2nd time here. We allowed some errors for the first time as they had just opened but it has gone backwards instead of having improved. The service is agonisingly slow. The tables are too close together so the trolly's can't get through. So besides not enough food coming out of the kitchen, when it does come, it takes so long to go round that it’s all cold. The is also very little variety in the dumplings for the size restaurant. The new decor makes the place uncomfortably loud compared to the previous design and has already started to crumble with the fins on the Styrofoam goldfish on walls now missing their fins. Unfortunately we will not be going back here and instead will each week drive the 45min out of town to Gold Leaf Burwood which despite the slightly rough service, never disappoints with regards to the food and doesn't take 2 hours to only get served 5 highly overpriced average dishes!

   Their yum cha is ok. First try for the dinner section, and we ordered some signature dishes but food was not fresh, tasteless, and to be honest it was overpriced. Not recommend at all.

   The food served was delicious and authentic. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. However, service needs improvement as we waited very long for our requested dishes we ordered to arrive and as my friend was speaking to a waiter, she walked away during busy times. I believe that since this restaurant has just been opened, there will be teething problems , therefore, all is good and we will definitely visit this place again !

   We love this reasonably new restaurant- the food is amazing, fresh & hot, the service is fantastic- tea being refilled continually - special dishes requested at table delivered - food will seem a bit pricey to some but if you want a divine lunch or dinner with your friends or family - you will be guaranteed that at Bright Palace !

   Fantastic new owners. We had a wonderful meal, the food was great and plenty of it! Staff were great. We will definitely be back!

    We have been to Bright Palace twice. This new restaurant is fabulous! The service is outstanding , the variety of food on offer is wonderful - including the quality. This is our favourite dim sum restaurant at the moment. It’s a stunning venue too!
