Contemporary Coastal and New Orleans cuisine served in the historic Warehouse District. Briquette serves up unique seafood creations from the Louisiana Gulf waters and around the world.     I recently celebrated my birthday dinner at this restaurant, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The front-of-house team took excellent care of us, and I'm incredibly grateful for their efforts in making my birthday special. However, I found the food to be a bit underwhelming, especially given the high price point. We started with the Oysters Rockefeller, which were $28 for four oysters. While the oysters themselves were amazing, the creamed spinach tasted like dirt, and the Oysters Bienville lacked flavor. The crawfish and cream cheese crepes also didn't impress, although the scallops were cooked beautifully. One highlight was the Crab Bisque; they were generous with the crab meat, and the bisque itself was delicious. For my main course, I opted for the Redfish on a Half Shell, which I would rate a 5/10. Unfortunately, it arrived cold, and was bland. Desserts were good, and we tried an assortment of options, but nothing really stood out. The cocktails were generally good, but I'd recommend passing on the espresso martini. Table loved the spicy margaritas. Despite the lackluster food, the exceptional service from the waiter really made up for it. Overall, it was a mixed experience, but the attentive staff made it a memorable experience. Loved how the team celebrated each tables birthday, together. Was a nice touch.

    Everything was excellent, only thing I would change would be. It was a little loud and hard to talk due to the noise.

    Amazing fresh fish. Both oyster appetizers were delicious. The whole red fish would be enough for two unless you were very hungry.

    First time here and a nicely laid out restaurant in the warehouse district. Service was good- thank you Tony. Drinks specialities are creative and good. I had the Louisiana Redfish on the half shell. Highly recommend and the other dish was the catfish platter. Both extremely tasty and wonderful presentation. As usual, dessert was ordered and bread pudding beignet were the BOMB! Wow they are delicious. Nicely decorated and beautiful bar for drinks prior to reservations.

    If the owner isn’t there, turn around and walk out bc the staff doesn’t seem to GAF. If 2 or more of the ingredients in a dish isn’t in the kitchen, don’t sell the dish! Consistency is the key to the success of any good business and when the owner is there, this place is in our top 5 in town. When she isn’t there it’s not worth it and I’ll make sure to se if she’s there first from now on bc this is a regular occurrence we have noticed as frequent customers.

    Food was good Luke warm service was horrible. We asked for coffee and was brought and an americano not coffee and when asked she was rude never came back to check on us or offer us anything else. We needed to get up and ask for check

    My date and I felt ignored almost as soon as we walked into the restaurant. We stood there for what seemed to be four minutes at the hostess stand with no one to greet us. When finally, what seemed to be one of the cooks to the initiative right out of nowhere to wait on us and show us to our table. This incident set a negative mindset as we try to enjoy the start our evening.
